My wife and I needed to move from an apartment in Los Angeles to another in the same city, and we also needed to store our furniture, etc., for a few months in between the moves. Our dealings with NorthStar were handled professionally by their office staff. They kept us informed about the whole process. The 3 guys they sent at both ends of the move were cordial, helpful, and very easy to work with and to discuss how we should do things in terms of packing, etc. They worked quickly and constantly the whole time they were with us and seemed concerned about protecting our furniture, etc.
The move cost more than I had originally anticipated, as you pay for their time to and from their storage facility, which was a significant distance. However, we were informed about that and the likely cost before the actual move. I don’t know if anything was broken, as I am not in LA at the moment, and my wife has not had time to unpack much of anything.
