They worked really really really hard again there were a few surprises, a desk that took usually a long time to dissemble and so on, which they did with great efficiently and no complaint and they, you know the move was suppose to last to about 4pm or something like that and it lasted till 7, so they been extraordinary helpful, you know absolute willing to put the furniture together to help me pack a bit, so I couldn’t be more pleased with all the effort that they put in so I recommend them highly to anyone. Thank you Northstar Moving!!! I had the most positive experience ever. They are without a doubt the best company to work with. From the front office, to the estimator, to the foreman, to the moving men. Each and every person affiliated with my move was accommodating, friendly and professional.

I had a very difficult escrow. My moving date changed several times. They gladly moved my date several times, did everything possible to accommodate the time that worked for me. My move was not easy. Very large furniture out of a mobile home into an apartment… up a stairway that has a difficult turn. They protected each and every piece of furniture and everything arrived exactly as it left my home. Perfect. The guys who moved me were the best… moved furniture around my home until it looked good in it’s final place… No complaints, professional, and very willing to please.

I purchased all of my boxes and paper from Northstar. The box count was perfect. No waste. Amazing.

I would highly recommend them to anyone planning on making a move. Thanks for the best ever experience.

So hello welcome to our new place. We just got finished with a crazy move and all the guys at NorthStar Moving moved into this four story place, with crazy heavy furniture, expensive furniture, because she made sure to tell them, don’t do anything to this table, to this TV, to anything and they did an amazing job, absolutely amazing. They sweated to everything. They drove to Santa Monica to Downtown to Santa Monica again, they didn’t want any beers, that’s fine, more for me and it was a great experience. The following is an email I sent to Ron after my last move back in April 2009 in Playa Vista. To explain about the elevators, I had a not to exceed price but when we got to the new building one of the elevators was not working and they had to use one on the other side of the building and the move took much longer than estimated. There were also problems with parking so they had to move the truck twice while trying to unload my stuff. Even so they still stuck to the not to exceed price. I know any other company would have taken advantage of that situation and used the elevators as an excuse for other delays and charge me way more than agreed, but they still stuck to the not to exceed price! These guys are awesome — very honest and great movers as well. I have tried many other companies in the past and I had just accepted that there’s no such thing as a great moving company, but now I know in fact there is.

I meant to write to you sooner, but I’m still getting unpacked and I just got my computer set up (I had been checking mail on my phone). Anyway, I wanted to thank you for the way you handled my move and for being so understanding with the elevator problems. Also I wanted to say the three guys who did the move were absolutely excellent. I will definitely give you a call for my next move!
