I moved from West LA to Hancock Park in less than 3 hours and 6 rolls of their tape. And, they were early for an 8-10 am window! Wow.
I haven’t unpacked everything so I’ll let you know if anything’s broken. 😉
My ONE (and only) concern is that they dropped my (expired) passport in my hallway. I found this out when my old landlord called me to come pick it up. This doesn’t bring down my 5 star review, because I like to leave room for a little human error. 🙂

I found NorthStar Moving on Yelp and they had some pretty good reviews. I called them, basically last minute but they were able to set up an appointment for me right away. They gave me a 2 hour window to expect the movers but Guy Hacyma and his team were there right on time. They’re paid hourly but it didn’t seem like it. They packed everything I didn’t (big stuff) and got it in the truck in no time. When they were done unpacking, I was surprised “you even put the bed back together?” They had it all done in less than 3 hours.
The rep during set up is courteous and explain everything in detail. After the move, Guy was the same – courteous, friendly, and most importantly organized. He explained everything and took payment right there. Very convenient!
Thanks so much NorthStar Moving you are awesome everything was quick, clean, easy. None of our stuff was damaged it was the quickest move ever all our stuff is in its place perfect and we are using you guys next time yes couldn’t be happier.

Though I’ve done a fair amount of relocating, I’d never used a moving company before and had some anxiety about the entire process. They got some incredibly difficult mid-century modern furniture pieces up the stairs with no trouble at all; I mean they did touch the wall. Incredible and phenomenal, I would highly recommend them.

We just moved from our apartment into a home and we had a lot of delicate items that we were worried about. We lived on the second floor of a complex with no elevator to add to the worries. Everyone at Northstar was very professional and the service we got from Richard and his crew was amazing. All the furniture was carefully wrapped and carried away without any damage. I would strongly recommend this moving company and if you could request the crew, definitely go with Richard and his crew. Hi I am Brandon, we just did a move with NorthStar Moving, me and my wife and I. It was everything we hoped it would be. The sales person at the beginning they told us it would be the best move of our lives, but certainly we were a bit skeptical that it turned out to be everything we hoped it would be. It was very smooth, everybody was on time. They actually finished a little earlier, everything was put exactly where we wanted it. Everybody was very accommodating and we will definitely move with NorthStar Moving again next time.

Northstar’s service was great – they were honest and upfront with costs and efficient and helpful with the move. They treated our stuff with care during the move and were quick to fix a chair that broke during the move. I did a lot of research and this was definitely the best value for the money.
