I did 2 moves with Northstar in the past 3 months. The 1st into my storage unit and the 2nd into my new apartment in a downtown hi-rise. Everything was great, professional, on time. Parking a big truck is really tough downtown and the hallways are hard to navigate but the crew did a great job.
Well I wanted to say thank you to NorthStar Moving, you guys did a great job. Very professional, extremely fast, faster than I expected, everything showed up at the house, perfect order and the guys were beyond belief, professional, fun to work with and I would definitely hire them again. I had a last minute weekend move from a cottage that was up nearly a hundred and forty stairs. A team of three men came at 8 am on Sunday morning (they said they would be there between 8-10 am) and hauled everything out without a scratch. They were very fast at boxing up a few odds and ends that I had left about, and even tightened loose screws on furniture when setting up at the new place.
This was only the second time I have ever hired movers, but I think that the price was reasonable and the work was done professionally. I would highly recommend them.

I had NorthStar moving corp move me last weekend and they were great! I highly recommend them. The arrived on time, even though they gave me a range they showed up exactly at 8am. They came prepared to help me with everything including finishing up the boxes I still needed to tape. They let me use their wardrobe boxes at no charge!!!! And I needed 10 of them….still no charge. They worked extremely quickly…getting the job done in a very reasonable time and everything made it safely. Easily the best move I’ve ever had. They showed up on time, finished in exactly the amount of time they estimated, didn’t charge me an outrageous markup for supplies, and moved everything without any damages. I actually felt bad that I didn’t pay them more. Seriously. These guys were great.

Just moved from Hollywood to Playa Vista with NorthStar. When you research the dozen or so main companies that appear online they all sound good and all basically offer the same deals and assurances. I took the time to call them all and to speak with the representatives. NorthStar stood out from the bunch, the rep I spoke with instilled confidence and we got an account exec out to survey our home and estimate what the move would cost. He also gave valuable advice on what we could do to prepare the move and save money. The day of the move we had a 3 man crew who were extremely pleasant to deal with. They were helpful, jovial and super efficient. The leader of the team, Guy, was helpful beyond the call of duty and was able to answer questions, unhook our fridge, hook up our 68″ TV. All went down without a hitch and I strongly advise you to use these guys – do yourself a favour, spare yourself the day or two it takes to shop around…..Oh, and good luck with your move 🙂
