Just moved yesterday from Rohnert Park to San Francisco. I chose NorthStar because of their reviews on Yelp. Beatriz was super helpful on the phone and answered all my questions. They followed up a few days before the move date to confirm.
Then yesterday morning, Jason called me at 7am to let me know they would be there at about 8am. I was worried I didn’t have everything ready for them, but once they got there I have never felt so relaxed about moving. They completely took charge and had everything packed and organized in about an hour and a half. Jason was extremely professional and knew exactly what he was doing when I was signing the contract. He quoted me a price that scared me a little, but he assured me it would be much less. Driving to the city usually takes an hour so I was worried it would be more because it is such a large truck. Turns out Jason kept up with me quite well and we were there in no time. It took an hour to unload (up four flights of stairs!) and they were SUCH troopers with our big stuff (we had a large record player and a kegerator that weighs more than a standard refrigerator). Strong is an understatement when describing them. I was amazed at their speediness and work ethic. We joked around and chatted a bit which made everything so calm and easy. It was only 3 1/2 hours total for everything. I was amazed.
They were careful with all of our belongings and I couldn’t thank them enough. Jason gave me the total for everything and then added in the yelp deal that I had purchased. I would have gladly paid double for the service we got. Thank you Jason, Angel, and Rodolfo!
