These guys were awesome. Super fast and professional, huge truck, really took care of my possessions in a complicated move, and were available at late notice.

I’ve moved almost every year in SF, each time with a different moving company. My most recent move, which was incredibly rushed due to my schedule, was made possible by NorthStar. They were able to fit me in on short notice and transport some heavy and fragile pieces, including a concrete dining table and marble standing desk. I will be going back to them next time I need a move. They also contract with an full replacement insurance company in case you are worried about your items (like I was), not that I needed it.

Best moving experience I ever had. They did the move with no damage, ahead of schedule and under budget. Dominick leads his crew like a professional; he and his crew are amazing!

They moved the contents of a 3 bedroom 2 bath house in Studio City to a much smaller 2 BR/2BA in Simi. I had 2 huge, already assembled, shelving units to solve the problem of moving into a smaller space. But I was going to have the crew disasemble, load the individual pieces on the truck, and reassemble in Simi. This would have taken forever and worn out the crew and dragged out the move. Luckily, Dominick had another plan which worked perfectly. Dominick very strategically loaded the two fully-assembled, large shelving units on the truck. This saved a tremendous amount of time, and crew energy. Fatigued movers are not a good thing; so his plan probably was safer and prevented injuries

The crew were all very polite, hardworking and thoughtful. They asked for directions when needed and followed directions well. They took initiative to box things I overlooked, arranged boxes and items at the new house in common sense ways; labels facing out, in the right rooms, positioned for access.

My only regret is that I had not planned ahead for the destination. It was a hot day, crew worked from about 8 am into afternoon. All I had was room temperature water. I wish I had some cold watermelon and cold water to give them when we got to the new house.
But they never complained and were grateful for the water.

Top notch group of guys. Would definitely use them again, without hesitation!

Not understanding what some of these 1 star people are referring to, but my husband and I had the exact opposite experience.
We were supposed to move on Saturday, but last minute, and I mean, last minute, we decided to move in
a lot sooner
Ron, the estimator who was professional and extremely nice to begin with, accomodated us on the day and time.
The movers came on time, were so patient and nice
10 hours move from start to finish. No damage, everything was assembled, 100% satisfaction.

Great job! The guys had to go up 3 flights of stairs at my new apartment and they never complained! They were very cordial, professional and hard working. I’d highly recommend them to anyone seeking qualified professional movers. Also, special thanks to Marlon for his guidance of the crew!

Marlin and his team did a phenomenal job moving us from one side of the city to the other! We fell short of being prepared for the move so Marlin and his team managed to bail out by packing our entire large two bedroom apartment in just a few hours! It would have taken us at least 2 days to do what his team managed to do in 2-3 hours. All while being super friendly and professional. In fact from our initial call the experience was a positive one- we were able to get a quote immediately, as well as book the move. They were very flexible with changes that came along the way! Will definitely be booking again.

We wanted to have the comfort of hiring movers + packers, in case we didn’t have time to pack. It is $170 an hour for 3 guys + 1 truck, so a bit pricier than other companies but they did have all the supplies to pack if we needed them to and the hourly rate was the same regardless of packing / moving. It took them 5 hours to do a 2 bedroom 1100 sq foot apartment if that helps you all estimate the cost. We moved on a Sunday, and they outsourced another company to help us because they weren’t available, but that is totally fine with us and they provided excellent service.

We had an incredible experience with Andre and his 2 guys, super personable and friendly, we felt like we were friends with them by the end! They helped us not only move our furniture and boxes but helped us arrange the furniture in what they thought would look best, and they even fixed some of our unstable Ikea furniture with power drills. We didn’t have to lift a finger and they did an excellent job and were very careful with all of our belongings.

Incredible service, could not have done a better job in one day!!!! We moved from a 5,000 sqft home to another 5,000 sqft home, 6 in our family …. and it went super fast because they were very efficient and organized!
10 hours of hard work for this fabulous and kind team!!!

We have used this moving company twice. They are reliable, efficient, and have amazing customer service. The quotes are accurate and there are no surprises. Their moving team works very hard and have always been very careful with our possessions. We had a situation with this move that was unanticipated. Our move out of Calabasas was exactly as planned however our move to our new house was delayed and they ended up having to store everything for a month. Ron was extremely accommodating and didn’t charge extra for the storage which was greatly appreciated. Ramiro and his team were fantastic. Our new home is three stories and they never missed a beat covering all three levels. Wendy in the office went above and beyond helping us through some minor hiccups. Highly recommend this moving company.
