Despite having moved way too many times, I really hate moving. I called NorthStar on the recommendation of another company – that doesn’t do packing – and I was not disappointed. Haitham, Augustin and Carlos arrived on time, did a great job (and trust me, I know about packing) and were friendly and patient despite rain and several flights of stairs. Everything arrived safe and sound – nothing broken. I would definitely use NorthStar again, though am hoping I don’t have another move in my future. And oh, take advantage of the Yelp offer!

Updated this review. I used North Star to move me into a new apartment. The crew was very efficient and friendly and I was happy that they used 3 movers. One of the crew members was having a bit of difficulty disassembling my large furniture and their customer service team made sure to help. I will definitely use them for future moves
I hired NorthStar Movers for a 1 bedroom apartment move from Sherman Oaks to Burbank on a Thursday morning. Lonail, Lloyd, and Chris showed up on time and had the truck fully packed in about two hours. These guys were friendly, efficient, and worked very well together. The drive and unload time took another two hours. They dropped off and reassembled all my furniture and belongings in their respective rooms. There were a few dings to the legs on our couch but nothing too serious. I would highly recommend NorthStar Movers.
Moved last Saturday with the help of Haitham, Augustin, Carlos and one other guy whose name I didn’t catch (sorry!). They did a wonderful job – I had actually only requested a crew of 2, since I don’t have a lot of things, but they brought 4 guys, which made it go much faster. I was completely moved in under 2 hours. They set up my bed for me, which they didn’t have to do, and didn’t charge me for the plastic wrap on some furniture. Nothing was broken or even scratched that I could see. Thanks guys!
After moving with Northstar our fifth time, including one coss-country move, we are again amazed and impressed by their team. Kevine, Deon and Keon were not only professional, they went above and beyond to make a very difficult life event far less stressful. We will continue to recommend Notthstar to family and friends and wish Kevine and his team well.
Vatche, Abraham, Kevin & Jose were super stars today. They packed and unpacked their 2000 square-foot truck lickety-split. Friendly, efficient , and very careful with all our worldly goods. Now I understand why they have countless five star ratings!
Nelson and his team were fantastic! We needed help moving and they were efficient and thorough. They packed up nearly everything in our (small) one bedroom and moved us (about a mile and a half away) in about 4 hours with courtesy and respect. They even reassembled the bed once we got to the apartment.

This is my second time using them, and they always deliver. Their movers are super punctual, professional, and friendly. Best of all, they make packing up even easier with their wardrobe boxes and additional supplies. Great for someone new to a city and moving on their own.

We have used Northstar Movers 3 times in the past 10 years and they are absolutely the Best! The services they offer with moving and Storage if you need it are amazing! They break down and package your items with great care and they provide the same expert service upon delivery. I would definitely use them again and recommend them. To top it off our movers Jorge J, Ruben T, and Isaias were so kind professional and accommodating. Would give them a 10 star if I could .
NorthStar movers Lloyd, Lonail and Vincent showed up on time for our move from Silverlake to Highland Park…..they came ready and raring to go and got started packing up items immediately. They were friendly and fun movers who took care of everything from start to finish. At both residences they had to do many stairways and never complained.
The office personnel, Jessica, was very helpful in setting up the move and the followup call 3 days before the move was a great help.
I would highly recommend these movers and definitely use them again.
