After having horrible experiences with two local moving companies, I called NorthStar and was greeted and didn’t get a slimy sales pitch but a very thorough description of what we could expect on the big day.
We had a crew of three guys who showed up right on time!
They all took great care of my stuff. I have a lot of one of a kind antiques and they were very respectful.
Did I mention it was over 100 degrees! The crew didn’t slow down until they had lunch. Then it was right back to unloading.
They did an amazing job hanging my clothes in our closet!
I would not think twice about using them again.
I highly recommend NorthStar.

Very smooth move from the peninsula to the East Bay – thanks! Great repeat experience, I moved with Northstar a few years ago and this one went well just like the last. North Star was great! They were very friendly! And then they were careful of the furniture when moving. We just bought a new house, so they were super careful around the corners and working around our other boxes. They kept a detailed inventory, which we appreciated. And team made sure everything was finished efficiently. They were on time and ready to go. Alma helped estimate the move and her customer service was great. She also followed up with me to make sure we had everything we needed. I would recommend NorthStar to others. Thank you!

The NorthStar Moving Team is fabulous!! They were so efficient in packing up almost all of my belongings in a very crowded one bedroom apartment. I went to another room for a few minutes and could not believe all they had accomplished in the short time I was gone. They are great packers and are very careful with delicate items. We were also so happy with their efficiency and care when they unpacked all of our stuff at the new place. On top of all of that, they are really nice and very professional. I couldn’t recommend them more!!
NorthStar just moved us for the second time (we used them on our previous move 10 years ago), and once again, I couldn’t be happier with the work. The guys were a pleasure to work with, and even came on the early side in anticipation of the extremely hot day we had today.
