Everyone was super prompt, friendly, and handled everything with care. This was my first long distance move and they made me feel super comfortable throughout the entire experience. The movers who helped me out were Karan, Lloyd, Art, and Omar.
This has probably been the best moving experience for me yet. I’m sure we can all agree that no one likes to move and it’s an incredibly painful and drawn out process. I have had some really terrible experiences in the past with movers, so I wasn’t expecting a whole lot when I called North Star. I was given a coupon by my leasing office and gave these guys a call. Even though they discontinued the offer that was on the coupon, they made an exception for me and decided to honor it. I started warming up to them right that second. David, Andrew and Cody arrived the next day at the agreed upon time. They even gave me a courtesy call 45 mins prior to arrival. I expected the move to take about three hours, even though I was only moving down the hall from my current apartment. I was surprised to see how efficient and fast these guys were. They managed to finish moving everything in a record time of 90 minutes! Not only did they move everything, they also managed to place all the furniture in the exact same spot as my old place! They even arranged the clothes in my closet the same way it was arranged before. They took extra care to ensure that no damage was done while moving. The coupon mentioned a 2 hour minimum and David was nice enough to prorate that to 90 minutes and give me a fantastic deal. If you are moving, I would highly recommend calling them.They will make moving as pain free as it can get.
Without a doubt, worth every last penny. Haitham, Carlos and Jason arrived within the promised window and immediately started working. Efficiency is expected and always appreciated, but their friendliness was more helpful than they could have imagined. Moving is emotional and having these guys present helped keep emotions in check and spirits high. I know their manager, Jason, was checking in behind the scenes ensuring everything moved smoothly, and move smoothly it did. Having never hired a professional moving company before, I was skeptical on quality and integrity, and I was blown. away. I hope I don’t need to move again, but if I did and to anyone else I know moving, I will absolutely recommend North Star. It is clear the company runs with integrity and customer service at their core and this resonates throughout the experience. Michelle who took my quote was incredible, Haitham Carlos and Jason were the most efficient movers I could have hoped for. It is clear this company is founded on great ethics and it is reflected in how and who they hire. If I could give 6 stars, I would.
Reliable, they showed up on time with four super hard working guys. They carefully wrapped everything and took special care of the fragile items that we marked. There was a small dent made on our wall but they are taking full responsibility for it. At our new house they were very conscientious of our new carpet that we just installed and laid down the protective barrier down every room. We made a last minute decision to switch room configuration and they did it for us happily. They assembled our furniture back for us professionally also. Super happy customers. Thank you!

NorthStar helped me with my delivery and was efficient and fast. It was a seamless process from picking up to delivering, and they kept most of my stuff unharmed during the trip from LA to the Bay.
The Eric and the team was awesome, attentive to detail, gave a quick honest estimate of the max amount that will be charged on the move. This was great so that we have a good expectation setup!
Another great aspect was how the team really stepped up in asking our needs, letting us know if we need anything more and so on. No damages and also they were super proactive about the charges, letting us know exactly how they don’t charge during the lunch time and also once the move was done, excluding the time of paperwork and etc.
Junior and his crew were great! They were super friendly and easy to work with. They moved everything quickly and assembled any necessary items. Nothing was broken. I will definitely use them in the future. Thank you Junior!
