NorthStar is my go-to for my last two moves and each time it’s been absolutely stellar. Customer service is top notch with booking and quotes. Super quick to respond and extremely friendly and helpful. This time I moved from my Potrero apartment over to Mission Bay and was delighted by the service I received from Edgar, Isael Carlos, & Rodolfo. They showed up on time, were super friendly and got the job done with lightning speed and a smile the entire time. The destination was a bit tricky and they navigated right through a challenging load-in situation without any issues. I really appreciated their attention to detail and care for my belongings throughout the process. I cannot recommend this company enough! A++++

I had a bunch of very large items, and was afraid no one would be able to get them down my narrow stairs! A great option for anyone with heavy appliances to move. Edgar, Carlos and Isael knocked out what I thought would be a huge task in under an hour. The three hour minimum is a little rough, but overall I’m very happy with the outcome.

Andy and his crew of: Cesar, Emanuel, Christian, Ronaldo, Alberto, and Eddie were amazing. They were on time, moved quickly and handled everything with extreme care. We had two days of moving, 7 workers and two trucks. I would absolutely refer anyone to use them!! I’m so pleased with how the move went and they went above and beyond to make sure I was happy. A huge thank you to North Star for a fantastic, stress free move!!!

This was the third time that I have hired North Star Moving for a local move (2009, 2014, and 2018).  The crew this time — Pablo, Jimmi, and Luis Pedro arrived a little before 9:00 a.m. on May 26.  These young men were personable and attentive to our us and our move.  As we’d done in the past to streamline the process, we had made several trips back and forth to carry clothing items, breakables, computer equipment, etc., to the new condo.  We had already boxed up move everything else except for the furniture.  The crew, once we’d walked them through the (former) apartment to show what was going, they started right in wrapping up the furniture and loading/removing the boxes.  Once everything was packed, it was nearing lunch time so the guys took their lunch break and then met us at the new location.  Luckily, the security staff directed us to a gate at the back of the property for unloading.  This saved lots of walking (and time) for the crew to unload our belongings.  At the end of the day, an estimated 6.75 hrs + packing materials, the bill was $1,060 (plus tip)….a couple hundred dollars more than we’d expected to pay, but were prepared to pay in cash nonetheless.  North Star offered a 5% discount for paying in cash, so every little bit helps.  In closing, we would recommend North Star for anyone looking for a good, reliable local mover.  Oh, I can’t forget, Alma in their office was very prompt and helpful in getting me a quotation and scheduling the move on our preferred moving date.  We’ll likely contact North Star Moving first the next time we need to move.
This is the 4th time we’ve used the company. Every time, great experience. We just moved today, and the guys worked fast. They were careful with all the items, and did a really good job. They had a great sense of humor, and they figured it out whenever there was an issue.

I hired NorthStar to help me with my move from LA to Seattle. Both the guys picking up and the two people delivering were super efficient, professional, and friendly. The four individuals picking up my boxes and items also helped me wrap up bigger pieces of furniture. Support staff on the phone were accommodating for my multiple date changes and were always there to answer questions. My stuff arrived here earlier than expected, which is a plus. The only issue I had with the company was the initial quote given to me after they picked up my items (although the cost ended up being WAY lower)–I wish there was more transparency or clearer explanation for why the initial quote was so much higher than what I ended up being charged for.

Moving is always stressful. I hate it, you hate it.  Finding a legit moving company is essential. Northstar Moving company is hands down the best. From set-up with the quote and discussing logistics to the actual move…Everything went as planned. Amazing It just feels too easy. These guys came in and hustled from the get go.  Wrapped up things I didn’t think needed to be wrapped.  Asked questions and didn’t assume what’s going where or whats’s staying or going.  They moved so quick I had to ask if they were planning to take breaks! Top it off, each guy was personable and respectful.  When it’s time to move, these are the folks to call!!!

Great experience, from the booking to confirmation to our big move. Rodger and crew were punctual, caring of our things, flexible with our plans (and hectic SF streets) and got us moved out and in in a timely fashion. Highly recommend!!!
Like many, I wasn’t as packed as I would have liked but this team of five was amazing. Specifically, Ramiro, Andy, Christian, James, and Reyhaldo moved my family from a three-story town-home to a two-story house with ease.
