If you are looking for movers who are professional, efficient, and problem-solvers, go with NorthStar Moving Company! Despite the fact that we ran into some unexpected building issues (ie, broken elevator), the team worked with us to make our move as smooth as possible. They showed up on time and were incredibly quick (but still careful) in their loading and unloading of our items. They wrapped all furniture to prevent scuffing and did a great job with disassembling and reassembling the bed frame. Overall, the most professional movers I’ve ever worked with. I’ll be using them again next time!

The team even helped me pack a considerable amount of fragile kitchen items (all of which made it to my new home in excellent condition). Had a great experience with the Northstar company today!! We had an emergency move this week and it Gabi was able to help us out quickly and get us a crew two days later. She was thorough and made sure that we were set up for success.
We got a call the day prior and an hour before they arrived. They showed up earlier so that they could start the move right on schedule. I was still on a work call and the team graciously allowed me to finish my call. They kept the furniture moving with little guidance and everything went smoothly without a hitch. I needed to re-organize a few pieces after seeing it placed and they were great sports in allowing me to design with them there. I’d definitely hire them again if I need movers! Recommend for anyone who wants seamless service for a stressful time 🙂

I was very pleased with this moving company. They were friendly and on time, very fast and efficient movers and great rate. One guy of the three wasn’t able to come and the foreman gave me a fiat discount. The movers were all very polite and nice.
They were careful with our items not to damage anything. Excellent insurance policy as well. They are full service, so can do everything from packing to installing furniture or as much as you wish. They were very fast with installing our furniture all in less than 60min.

NorthStar Moving did a great job moving us from our Inner Richmond 2nd floor apartment to a two story Outer Sunset house. The movers were professional and friendly. They handled tight stair turns with large furniture. That included a beast of an armoire. We needed as much help as possible because we have a two month old baby. The movers played to our weaknesses and were nice to the baby. He move went so smoothly that the baby slept almost through the 5.5 hour move. I recommend NorthStar for your move and will use them again in the future.

You can tell they’re highly experienced as they were extremely efficient in loading and unloading all of our furnitures in a timely fashion.
The movers had to deliver a few furnitures from the city to my storage in the East Bay, and they made sure to avoid the rush hour, arriving there quicker than I had anticipated.
Given how stressful moving can be, at the end of the day I was so relieved everything went as smoothly as it did, and it was all thanks to Edgar and his team for their hard work. I would highly recommend these guys and will definitely be contacting them again for my next move.

Deon and his team helped my sister moved today and it couldn’t have gone better. The team arrived prompted, loaded everything and unloaded quick even though it was a long walk through the apartment building. Everyone on the team was great and very nice. Most definitely will recommend and use them again!
I called the day before I was supposed to move. I used their online chat to get a quote. The person on the chat was m very friendly and explained the whole process to me. There were no hidden charges or fees. I was given a 2-hour window in which the moving crew would arrive. They arrived 15 minutes before the time and call before they arrived to make sure I was ready. The crew was very professional, trust with their companies t-shirts. They took good care in that wrapping up some of my items so they would not get damaged. The crew was constantly moving and did not sit down or take any breaks until it was time for the lunch break. I would highly recommend this company. Thanks to Edgar and his crew
Jesse and his team helped us move within San Francisco today. It was definitely one of the easiest move we’ve done. They are extremely professional and fast. They loaded my entire room in just over an hour. None of my stuff was damaged. They also helped us pack and disassembled some furnitures. We didn’t really have to do anything at all. They are also very friendly and nice people. Overall, my moving experience has been excellent. We would definitely use their services again.
