I just wanted to give a HUGE shout-out to Kobe, Abby and Wendy from their accounts/accounting team. For my move, there was a mishap of the walls at my old condo building being scratched. I was initially nervous to contact Tim (the mover who helped me) because I’m so used to companies usually putting on the defense so they don’t have to pay for the damages. However, this was entirely different. Tim, my mover, was extremely professional and referred me to Kobe, who then referred me to Abby/Wendy (I’m assuming in accounting). They helped pay for the damage but what truly impressed me the most was their amazing professionalism and customer service. Every single step, they were courteous, responsive, and extremely helpful. The damages were paid with absolutely no headache and I was honestly blown away by how a small mishap turned into the most painless thing to fix. HUGE props to them on this. I’ve never had a company handle a bad situation so well and make it so painless. Seriously, if you’re not sure about hiring them for a move, just know that they handle any problems with the utmost professionalism, friendliness, and efficiency.
North Star Movers is the best moving experience I’ve ever had. Everything went so easy. Our move was scheduled for the movers to arrive between 8am-10am. John Henry Wilson was our team leader and he called me at 7am to tell me he was on his way and would be there at 8am. They were exactly on time. Jesse Estrada and Jose Gomez came along with him and they were all friendly and positive. They moved our office effortlessly. They were so strong, and we were impressed with John Henry lifting our couch by himself in one arm. They deassembled what was necessary and reassembled it correctly when they arrived to our new office. I would use them again and recommend using these guys for sure.

Another peaceful, happy move has been executed with skill, value & class!

We did a regional move from Los Angeles to Sacramento. The price was significantly higher than two other moves, but this was essentially for an exclusive
move, and we negotiated around exact packing and delivery dates and bringing plants.

The crew at both ends were excellent. They arrived promptly on time, did great protective packing, including some very valuable antique pieces and a
Steinway piano, and worked hard but carefully to load and unload. They did a little extra moving of a few pieces for us at the house and were patient as we
did some final changes on furniture placement. This company prides themselves on excellent customer service, and we agree. Kudos and thanks to Jadiel,

After selling our condo in Long Beach, I knew we were going to need help with the move into our new house. Being pregnant with twins and needing to move a fridge along with everything else- It was going to need a crew. So I enlisted the help of NorthStar again! Yeap, repeat customer here. Although the cost was significantly more and they manage to scratch some furniture and break a pot- I was still pleasantly surprised. We paid cash and got a discount and an additional discount on the broken/scratched items. I will always recommend NorthStar to a friend or family member.
Northstar is by far the best movers! On time, polite, professional and really fast!! Their customer service agents are very detailed and dedicated to making the process really easy. Even when you’re put on hold there is a funny messaging saying how sorry they are that you are on hold.
I have used several different moving companies over the past couple years to move across country and was extremely impressed with the service North Star provided. I moved from San Francisco to Ohio and had all my belongings delivered within 7 days. The quote was much lower then any of the larger companies so I was apprehensive but they exceeded my expectations. From the moment they arrived to pick-up my belongings to delivery the communication and customer service I received was in a class of its own! I would definitely use North Star for my next move!
I used Northstar Moving to move from Los Angeles, California  to Austin, Texas.  The movers showed up on time and were really fast and efficient.  My belongings arrived in tact and undamaged in Austin within the allotted window period.  They charged me exactly what they quoted me and didn’t throw in any additional fees or try to up-charge me once they delivered my belongings.  It was a very pleasant experience all around.  I would recommend them to anyone and definitely would use them again.
I’ve reviewed these guys before on a local move that went great so we decided to use them again when we moved long distance. From the estimate, to the packing to the delivery, everything was great once again.

As someone who has been screwed by crooked moving companies in the past ( they’re all over be careful ) it’s a relief to get a company that tells you up front if something’s going to be delayed, cost more, etc…
