OK I’ve moved bfore and had terrible issues with movers. I was “gun shy” as it is said. Thanks to this company, Raymond and his crew, it was flawless! They were friendly and fun, highly efficient and fast. I can’t say what a relief it was to have such a positive experience. They moved my two bedroom apt full of very heavy things and wrapped everything that I was worried about. Yes I paid for it but, the key is to have the estimator come to your house so you can get their “not to exceed price” Michael came to my house and was $27 off but, I only paid the estimated price.
These 4 guys worked their butts off and yes they got a tip for that. (Did I mention hauling my heavy things up four flights of stairs at the destination?” I only moved about 8 miles away, but I was worn out just carrying the left overs that I wanted to take myself. I packed all my stuff before thay came so I was ready.
Seriously, it was a great experience considering I HATE moving. Thanks guys!!!

This is an amazing moving company! The guys were SO efficient and professional. They were so trustworthy that I left them at my place while taking my cat over to the new place. Luis, Richard, and Miguel are some of the hardest working men I’ve seen! I will definitely use them again for my next move 🙂

Where do I even begin?! To say that Hannes, Daniel and Kenny are very efficient and super bad asses, would be an understatement. Those 3 guys helped my husband and I move out of our apartment to a 3 level home. They arrived and did a quick look around the place and got right into it. They wrapped, blanketed and taped up everything and on our way we went. Poor guys, they brought up our washer and dryer to the 3rd floor!! Never did I hear them complain. They are great at what they do. They are moving beasts!! Don’t be fooled by their size – they can carry and move just about anything. If my husband and I ever move again, I would definitely use these guys again and request them specifically! Just a tip for fellow yelpers, purchase your own shrink wrap and tape 🙂
Great movers. Very professional and timely service. Worked hard to make sure nothing was damaged in the process. I’ve had experience with many movers and these guys are the best. Highly recommended!
The guys were super nice and took amazing care of my belongings. If I asked them to do anything special, their response was “no problem.” I would recommend these guys to anyone.
While renovating our home we decided to get NorthStar to empty the main floor of our home rather than me and some friends humping it all out to a pair of boxes on the driveway where everything could cook in 105 degree temps for 6 weeks!!
Everything left in blankets and wrap and was stored in their controlled storage. This morning it all came back exactly the same.
The crews were great, very respectful of our new walls and floors and unpacked/placed in place in less than 2 hours.

My moving experience was extremely smooth with Northstar. They sent an estimator beforehand to give me a not-to-exceed price which set my mind at ease about cost. They were easy to work with over email and provided helpful information about additional moving insurance on top of their basic coverage. Of the
day itself, the crew of Jose Barreto, Jose, Jose and Anthony was punctual, polite and extremely fast. They beat their estimated time by over 20%. My stuff was well wrapped and made it all clean and intact and my day-of-worrying was quite unnecessary. I would happily recommend this company to anyone
