Day of move: call prior to arrival as promised with ETA. Movers got started right away after walk through and explanation of charges. No surprises. Easy to work with team of three. They worked quickly and steady. No complaints at all. Furniture disassembled and wrapped as told it would be. Upload at other end went smoothly. Items unloaded on a timely fashion, furniture assembled and items placed where told. I would definitely recommend these movers!

The crew of William P., Jorge L., Victor & Jose A. did an excellent job with our move.  They were really careful with all our furniture, and worked extremely efficiently — that was the biggest surprise for me, having hired movers before — to get everything taken care of.  Very professional, and on time — no, actually they came early — just a great team.  Company as a whole were awesome to deal with too.  They were upfront and clear with all the costs.  I called on Tuesday and was able to get a team for the following Sunday morning.

The team was punctual, fast, and polite – our move went very smoothly. They worked with us to make sure they got everything at our old place and that everything ended up where we wanted in the new one.   We’re very grateful for their hard work!

Arthur, Kevin, and Jordan was the absolute the best. They were the bomb, I truly appreciate their promptness and their conversations. They were the best team I’ve experienced with great attitudes and making clients happy. We laughed hard. This was my first time experiencing a moving company and they were the best. I was so happy with there togetherness, dedication, and hard work. I recommend them to receive a bonus. If I have to move them, I would like the same three guys to come and move me. I felt really comfortable having them in my home and knowing the fact that you can work together as a team and still have fun. I know being in the downtown area made things a little hectic with parking, but they were able to make things work. I really hope they are recognized for bringing hard work, and dedication to the company.  They took great care of all of my belongings with sensitivity and care. I would recommend this company to all those that need to move as long as Arthur, Kevin, and Jordan can be the movers. I’m so appreciative to the three of them for there hard had work.
I was in a pinch and wasn’t ready packing when Northstar showed up but these guys said it wasn’t a problem, jumped in,  and helped out. Full service, great attitude, they have all the supplies you need. Logan, Ron, and Nick saved the day.

Setting up the move was very easy. The team was efficient and provided me with a reasonable quote
and excellent timing options.

On the day of the move Edgar and his team arrived on time and were very efficient. They wrapped all
our furniture in great detail and were very friendly and courteous. They also boxed many delicate items
and were very safe in the handling of all items.

The team called me multiple days in advance to confirm, while also calling the morning of to let me
know when I should be expecting them. The process was very turn key and made for a non-stress move.

Would definitely recommend their services moving forward.

Randy, Eddie, and John moved us over the weekend.  They called as scheduled and were on time.  3-story move out – 2 story move in.  They never slowed down and were very professional. This moving company is by far the best we have ever used.  (2nd time we’ve used them in 2 years).
It was truly a “no stress” move for us…..again!

As soon as I called Northstar someone friendly quickly picked up the call, which is always pleasant. Jason, a manager, was very friendly and scheduled a one pick up and two drop off job. The scheduling was fast and the rates were very good.

On the day of my move, the movers were on my way to my place and unfortunately ran into some unforeseen major traffic and rerouting due to a march on Market St. Jason reached me and we both realized it would be very difficult to get to my new place off of Market St. Therefore, he was able to get another crew to do it the very next morning. That was important as I needed to be out of my old place.

The pickup went smooth as the three man crew was friendly, organized, and worked hard. They didn’t even take a break. The first drop off went well as I asked if the movers could finish by a certain time as I had an important meeting and could not reschedule. They revved up and made the drop off in under an hour.

I’d recommend Northstar specifically because of their flexibility and ability to uphold last minute requests. Thank you.

Pedro, Eddie and Deandre were awesome – super fast, friendly and efficient — made the moving process super easy. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for help moving in the LA-area. Great value as well. Two thumbs up – give these guys a raise!
This was my boyfriend’s and my first time hiring movers and we were BLOWN AWAY.

A group of 3 guys arrived at our old apartment: Mike (team leader), Mordechai & Juan. But before that they called us an hour before arriving to give us a heads up of when we should be expecting them.

We met them downstairs and they gave us the lay of the land. We all went upstairs and they took a look to see what they were going to be dealing with. Mike then went over forms with me and we signed whatever we needed to sign and then he said, “alrighty, we’re going to grab our gear and get started”. And they did.
They had an awesome system and knew exactly how to handle things. They took great care in wrapping our furniture up carefully and they all worked efficiently. They were able to load up our studio full of stuff in a little over an hour.

We’re such noobs at this whole “hiring movers” and felt super uncomfortable seeing other people do things that we are somewhat capable of doing ourselves but mike made sure to make us feel ok.

Even schedule the entire move was easy!! My representative was a woman named Ana and she was so sweet and answered all of my questions and concerns! I also spoke briefly with Gloria (on accident…silly me made duplicate accounts ‍) and she was very friendly as well!

At the end of our adventure they set our items in the general area of where we wanted them; we then went over paperwork and billing.
North Star charges per hour which I’ve always been a little hesitant about with companies and individuals. I felt that anyone hired to do the actual labor wouldn’t work as quickly or efficiently as they can only to get more money/hours out of me. But honestly these 3 men were amazing. Thank you for everything; for your hard work, your professionalism and your kindness.

We will most likely be moving next year or the year after again…..guess who I’m going to call?!
