Seriously the BEST moving company ever. Victor H ran the move and his assistants did amazingly. Not only were they super fast and efficient, they were incredibly professional and helpful with the move. They packed everything so nothing would break, brought everything in to my new place and set everything up. I’d recommend this team for any move…gave me peace of mind that everything made it in perfect shape from A to B.

It would otherwise be an extremely stressful day, and Edgar and team totally saved the day!
I had to move out of my temporary residence and combine with stuff from a storage unit and finally move to a house still under construction. I also have multiple piece of fragile items including a 55″ tv, several pieces of large backlit mirrors and an antique tansu chest that’s a bit wobbly. I lost sleep last night just thinking what could have gone wrong!
There came Edgar and crew, who patiently and expertly packed everything with care and moved with efficiency. Moreover, Edgar is more than communicative the entire time, letting me know where they are in the process and how much time is left before they are ready to roll.
Can’t be happier with their service and couldn’t recommend them more! There may be some less expensive options, but Northstar is worth every penny!
I had NorthStar help with my move today. It was a little complicated because I was moving stuff out of my house to a consignment store, and out of my parent’s house to both my house and to the consignment store. From the very beginning of my search for the right mover, Gabriella was great. She was very responsive and answered all of my questions quickly and clearly,making sure I got the best rate (it varied by day, so I was able to choose a lower rate day). Also, their rate was $10/hr less than any other quote I got and it was for THREE movers, when everyone else’s quote was for only TWO. The 3 guys that came, were great…(Reginald, Arthur and Eric). They were incredibly cordial and professional. They took great care to ensure that each piece was very carefully wrapped and protected. I would highly recommend this company, as well as (specifically) these 3 gentlemen if you are contemplating a local move. Great job, NorthStar!! Thank you!
When booking my appointment, I was able to do so through an online chat, that actually worked! I told Alma what I needed done and how big my move was. She was able to break down the cost and provided me with all the details I needed. This was very helpful.
Edgar and his team were extremely professional helpful. They were right on time and helped me get organized for my big move. They were very efficient and we stayed within the 3 hour timeframe. I’ve used several other moving companies in the past and have had dishes break. Edgar and his team did a great job. My dishes survived the more! I highly recommend NorthStar Moving company.

4 years later, we had to use NorthStar Movers again. We are lifetime customers. Again, the 3 men crew came and did an excellent job!
Packed our big furniture with care, even our big, heavy T.V. We had packed all the small stuff ourselves in advance, which made the move so quick and effortless.
These guys do, literally, ALL the heavy lifting; so I didn’t mind doing the packing ourselves if it meant having a lower hourly rate, and making sure we had no items left behind.
Highly recommended and will use them again, hopefully not any time soon thou 🙂

Just used northstar’s services for my move this morning. Edgar and his team were perfect. I had sent out ~20 messages out to different moving companies in SF and this the cheapest at only $85/hr. They include gas, packaging supplies, etc. This rate was supposed to include the truck and 2 men but there were 4!
Everything went smoothly. Making an appointment was simple, they gave me a call a few days before the move as well as 30min before the arrived, and also worked quickly and efficiently to box up all my things and move them to my new apartment.
I didn’t have many things but they brought a huuuuuuuge truck for it anyways. You have to book a minimum of 3 hours and we were done at about 2-2.5hrs.
Highly, highly recommend this company.

NorthStar was also able to quickly get us the insurance certificates and waivers that our HOA required for moving. They were responsive in everything we had inquired.
Edgar and his crew helped us with the move. They arrived on time and were very careful in wrapping our furnitures and mattresses – a very important step in moving. They helped to disassemble our beds, TV, etc. They were also quick and efficient in moving our stuff. Obviously an experienced crew. Would I get them again for a move? You bet.

I could not have asked for a better experience with Northstar! We got three estimates before going with them and I’m so thankful we made the choice we did! They were prompt, professional, and even thoughtful about the way they moved special items like paintings, toys, even our dog’s stuff!

Moving is always stressful, but NorthStar Moving did an amazing job. I was contacted right away and communication throughout was excellent. They made sure to protect all our stuff and were very careful not to damage anything, but were still very efficient. Edgar and his team were able to load and unload our 3 bedroom in less than 3 hours. They were very professional and even showed up 30 minutes before our window. During the move, they were attentive to the directions we provided on where items were supposed to go, and the crew had great, friendly communication with us during the moving process. It was as painless as it gets and I would have no problems recommending them to anyone.
I cannot even begin to tell you what an incredibly great job this moving company did for me today! The guys were kind, respectful and beyond efficient. They went above and beyond to make, what could have been very stressful, a pleasant and seamless experience.
