Jason, Noe, and Jose were amazing – this is the second 5-star crew from NorthStar. I used them to move out of SF 2 years ago, and used them again to move back up. Unloaded my whole storage unit (1 bedroom + random furniture) in 30 mins, and got everything flawlessly into my new place just as fast. And the rate was well worth the high quality service. Will definitely use them again.

Great moving company! They were able to book a move for me on very short notice. The movers were great; the head mover was very friendly and made sure that I was happy with the service several times.
3 movers were sent and they moved my belongings the entire time they were there; without breaks. It was fast which saved me money!
There were no hidden costs; the move was actually slightly cheaper than I expected as the head of the move alerted me to an online deal the company had going at the time!

When we needed to hire movers, we knew there were a lot of options out there. I asked friends for referrals and reached out to a handful of movers that I found on Yelp. I have to say that while North Star was one of the more expensive movers I called, they were also the most professional, thorough and responsive. Their office staff were pleasant and answered all of my questions quickly. I even had one of their project managers come out to do a free onsite estimate and I’m glad I did. This way there were no surprises and it made me feel better knowing what the maximum cost would be (thank you Alan Nudel). When it came time to move last Saturday, our team of 4 were great! They were on time, courteous and friendly. They braved triple digit temperatures, high humidity and smoke and ash from a local fire that broke out the day before and did it all with a smile. Our moving team took great care of our furniture and appliances and wrapped everything very well. The lead, Leeka, always kept in close contact with us and pointed out anything that might be a concern before they put it on the truck. They were very accommodating and respectful. Thank you for making our move less stressful and for taking such great care of us. I’m so happy I decided to hire North Star. I really believe that you get what you pay for!
