On moving day, Daniel, Alex, and Gilbert showed up right on time & absolutely crushed it. These three worked like a well-oiled machine: efficient, careful, & somehow remained genuinely good-tempered through a long, hot, & demanding day.
Their friendliness & professionalism stood out, as did their attention to detail. They even made sure to be super conscious of my senior dog & her needs, which was so nice.
They handled even the heaviest & most awkward items through tricky staircases with ease. Not a single scratch, dent, scuff or ding on anything! Did I mention it was super hot that day? I don’t know how, but they made everything look easy.
I think what really sets NorthStar apart is the culture they’ve built from the top down. The owner Danilo swung by just to check on things & make sure I was happy with the service before we hit the road. It’s clear he has created something special here – a team that takes pride in their work & genuinely cares about the people they’re helping. That kind of leadership shows in every interaction.
Moving is stressful, but NorthStar made it feel like the smoothest day imaginable. I probably could’ve slept through it. Truly seamless. I will be recommending them to every single person I know. Thank you – you guys are the real deal!
I moved from a 3 bedroom house to a two bedroom apartment & Danilo & his team made my move so easy. I ordered full service so they brought all the boxes, wardrobe boxes, packed everything & unpacked most everything & put it in right places. Huge closet items were all set up nicely. Made this experience easier. Will hire them again! Great price too for full service & 5 plus people moving. True professional!!
So I’ve been moved–due to my job–about nine times. All moves were done by professional movers. This team led by Daniel and supported by Alex, Pedro and Oso was the best team to have moved me ever.

NorthStar Moving made my move from CA to AZ about as transparent, straightforward and easy as you could hope for. I reached out for a quote based on a search for high quality competitively priced moving companies. I did not want a broker as I was looking for a company that would handle the packing, storage and unloading themselves. The rep I worked with to complete my quote was fantastic. Very thorough and the quote was all in no surprises and fair. It was the cheapest but it was within range of what I expected to pay based on the quality I was looking for. The crew that did the packing was on time and professional. They took care with our belongings and packed according to the agreement reached including crating our one of kind art work and handling a very overstuffed garage. The storage was handled perfectly and all of our items arrived undamaged. We have moved in state, across states and to and back from Hawaii with my job. I have never escaped damage until this move!! The unloading crew was beyond expectations. Communication’s throughout were thorough and I knew what to expect. They arrived promptly on time. Worked with us on the much larger house. Took care to avoid any damage to the property. Even helped us move new furniture we had delivered and staged awaiting the delivery from this team. They even helped my son and I mount a TV quickly on the wall. They hauled away the boxes we were able to empty while they were here at no additional fee! I cannot recommend NorthStar Moving highly enough. You get what you pay for – and it’s worth not going with the cheapest you find. If we ever have to move again – this will be my one and only call.
Rob and the team did a fantastic job. They were there on time and treated all our belongings with care. All boxes and unboxed items (furniture, tv’s, beds, etc.) were unloaded and placed in appropriate rooms.
