So I’m used to moving all my stuff from one apartment to the next on my own but this time I decided to hire movers. First because both places (moving from and to) had an insane amount of stairs and second because I just bought a new bed and it’s a pain in the @ss to take it apart and put it back together by yourself.
From the initial phone call with Nancy, to Junior and his crew arriving on time and coordinating the job, Northstar was nothing but professional and efficient! They had tons of garment boxes and packing supplies on hand. And best of all, they didn’t purposely drive slow from one location to the next so they could charge me more.
I shopped around for movers and some of these companies (like Hippo movers) were total money-grubbing, sleezy, @ssholes. Boy am I glad I gave my money to northstar movers instead.
Storage
Vatche, Abraham and Levon did such an amazing job moving us in. They took their time and even took their shoes off to bring our stuff upstairs on our freshly laid white carpet. So so friendly and accommodating. Our stuff was in amazing condition. Even though it had been in their storage for 8 months.
Perfect coordination of services! We definitely appreciate the speedy service with Karan, Ricardo, and Jorge were super friendly and he’d working. Would totally recommend these guys to all my friends. Relatively reasonably priced, AND they have storage too! We moved from San Francisco, they stored our belongings for 2 months and moved it to our new location smoothly!
I’ve used NorthStar Moving for my past 4 moves in the last 15 years and continue to receive great service and I am very happy with them. The office staff is professional and follow through with email confirmations and reminders. The movers are equally as professional and on time. This year I had to move a home and separate office into storage for several months, then I relocated 120 miles away. There were a few snafu’s in this process because it was a complicated move. Our new home wasn’t ready when we sold our old home, so NorthStar packed-up our furniture, took it to their storage facility, and then delivered everything to our new home about 1.5 months later. Both the team that packed-up the furniture and the team that delivered it were on-time, very professional and very thorough. We highly recommend them.
We moved from CA to PA. They gave us a great deal and were very easy to work with. In the move an IKEA desk was damaged. I was worried that they would not take responsibility but they did. They compensated us more than fairly. I HIGHLY recommend them.

Wow! Just had the best moving company! They come prepared, very polite, respectful of our property, easy temperament and we are pleased with our experience. Can’t say enough good things…. They were great!
Don’t hesitate call them! they will get the job done and done right and done well and efficiently and with great service! Chris and Ben were on the job! They called me on their way and communicated exactly what time they would get there within the timeframe that is a huge deal for work big company to be able to get that kind of service. They were so fast and efficient they helped my elderly parents move furniture out of their place as they were getting new flooring put in! I was booked with another company but I didn’t have a good feeling about it and I did some research and I found this company and I’m so thankful I went with my gut feeling and they were able to accommodate me right away! I called them the day before and they were able to book it! Jessica and Gabriella the receptionists was more than thorough and sweet as can be and very professional! Don’t just try to get some fly by Night cheap deal when you’re moving! is not worth it go with whats reliable and efficient and it would be a less headache trust me! Do you guys work their butts off and they deserve to get paid well for what they do! Moving is hard I have so much respect for them! Go guys! Keep up the good work and you will be definitely hear from me and my next moving needs!
Great move! There were a couple of trouble spots but they solved them. I used them for both sides. Buy and sell.
