I had the moving company, NorthStar Moving move for me and they did a great job, an incredible job, in fact my wife has been commenting on all morning on what kind of great packing job they did and far as the unloading goes with Noel, Jesus and Rodolfo, it was just great. Truly in a scale to one to ten as I was talking to Noel, he said did we do a good job? And I said to a scale to one to ten, you did an eleven and I mean that with great sincerity. So I couldn’t ask for more and I guess the more I can ask for is that the next time I move, I am using these folks. I hope that you have as good an experience as I’ve had. Thank you.
NorthStar Storage delivered a mobile storage unit to my home a few months ago. The NorthStar moving guys helped me load my stuff into this portable storage unit (which took them about 15 minutes!!!), and they drove the storage unit to the NorthStar warehouse in Chatsworth.
Then, when I was ready to move to my new home in Sherman Oaks, I called NorthStar again. They delivered the portable storage unit from their Chatsworth warehouse to the drive way of my new home. They told me they can leave the storage unit in front of my home for a few days and I can empty it myself, or they offered to help me empty the unit with the NorthStar moving guys again. The choice was simple:
of course I asked for the help of the professional movers (which again, loaded everything I had in the mobile storage unit into my garage in less than 15 minuets this time). The whole experience was incredibly convenient, and unbelievably inexpensive.
This is not the first time I am using storage in Los Angeles. In the past, I rented a self storage room, rented a truck, and spent half a day moving things into my storage room, and another half day moving things out of storage when it was time to get things back to my new place.
This time, when searching for a storage place on the internet, I found some companies which would deliver a portable storage unit to my home. I thought this is a great idea: I wouldn’t have to spend my time renting a truck, load my things into it and out of it into the storage room, and do the whole thing again when it’s time to move things out of storage.
One of the companies that I came across that provided this special mobile storage service was NorthStar Mobile Storage. They offered to have a portable storage unit to my home AND help me load it. Convenience is a huge factor for me, and I decided to give them a shot.
They exceeded all my expectations: they showed up on time, within the window time frame they gave me. Their moving guys helped me load my things into the storage unit which took hardly any time at all. Yes, I was ready and organized, but even with that they were so efficient it was just a pleasure to watch them in action.
All I had to do was kind of supervise, I carried a couple of the boxes myself, and at the end of the load I locked the storage unit with my own lock and kept the key. All the paperwork and the payment were taken on the spot at my house. I couldn’t be happier, it truly was the most convenient storage experience I ever had.

Everyone that I dealt with, and I mean everyone: the person on the phone, the moving crew at my home: they were all extremely nice and friendly. It is refreshing to see a company where everyone is
so concern about customer service.
And as far as the cost: it was just plain cheap! I usually don’t go with the cheapest price, but compared to other companies I had a good feeling about using NorthStar. They were just the nicest to deal with on the phone when I was calling around for storage rent prices. So I went with them, even though they had t
he cheapest storage prices.
I wasn’t sorry: my portable storage unit cost me $52.50 per month to store in their warehouse, and it only cost me $50.00 to have it delivered to my house.
I know that I saved a lot of money on the rent with them, but and also for the fact I didn’t have to go rent a truck. It was just a good moving and storage experience. I love this company, they have the best storage in LA, and I will certainly use them again in the future.

NorthStar moved me down from San Fransico exactly one year ago. This time, I am leaving for a long vacation and searched for both mover+storage. I actually didn’t know NorthStar has storage, so I was researching other places and by accident found out that they do. And just like one year before, one simple call to NorthStar saved me tons of time. They easily beat competitors on price, service, convenience, and the clarity of explanation on cost.
On the moving day, — once again, star performance. The crew was on-time, courteous, efficient and overall very professional. I also got the chance to go to their storage place and acutally met the people who worked behind the scenes. And guess what, I was very surprised that everyone was so friendly and customer oriented, which further reinforced my belief that great culture and people make a great company. They seemed really enjoying working there. Their storage place is also nice and cool which cleared my last bit of dout whether my stuff will suvive the summer heat.
Again, I would recommend NorthStar to anyone who move in and around LA.

We recently employed your company to re-Iocate some of our possessions from an apartment on Wilshire Boulevard to another apartment in Marina Del Rey. The move was complicated by the need for some items having to be stored – not only in your facility, but also in three different storage lockers at our Marina residence.
We experienced an extremely smooth moving day, with every request handled expertly and professionally by your staff, both in the packing as well as in the moving process.
We especially want to commend to you the Project Manager, Ron Cohen, who met with us and gave us complete confidence that your company would be the best for our move. He remained in touch with us from start to finish, always returning our calls and meeting all of our requests. He is an excellent representative for NorthStar.
Most importantly, the men who actually did the work of packing and moving were outstanding. Robert, the foreman, was extremely professional, a good listener, and never overlooked any of our specific requests. He managed his crew – all of whom were efficient, hard workers and amazingly skillful- with a calm competency that showed why they all respect him. Some of their names – Adrian (wonderfully

I have the pleasure to address this letter of appreciation and recommendation for a very special person, Mr. Gadi M. Avigzer, of NorthStar Moving Corporation, in Los Angeles, where I was the Consul General of the Republic of Turkey until very recently.
It is not often I perform such a task, as I believe that a letter of appreciation and/or recommendation is a very serious matter.
