After requesting a quote through Yelp, I got a very quick response from Stephanie Haver, who was just amazing in terms of fast and friendly scheduling. She answered all my questions and kept me in the loop every step of the way. She was great! On the day of the move, I was scheduled with Miguel Villanueva and William Christian. Miguel called me to check in prior to arrival, which was perfect in terms of letting us know what to expect and giving us an ETA. Both men arrived ready to work and got everything packed A LOT quicker than I thought. I’m serious, Miguel went to dismantle my table for easy packing after he and William lugged our king sized bed to the truck. The table was in one piece when I went to wash one of the dishes in the sink and when I looked up the table was all packed up and ready to move. They really do not waste time, which is very considerate when it comes to cost of labor per hour, which is already competitive compared to most moving companies. William was very swift, moving things at lightning speed, but so quietly that you forget he is there. He was incredibly gentle with our items. Miguel is probably one of the hardest working men I’ve ever seen and very personable as well. They lugged everything up three flights of stairs and were great about it! If I could request these two men the next time I move, I definitely would. Overall, a fantastic company. I highly recommend their services!
From the beginning with Michael to the end with Anthony the mover we had an excellent experience moving. We moved from Virginia to Florida and the move was flawless. Everyone was extremely professional and our furniture and boxes were taken great care of. I would definitely use this company for any future moves.
Selecting a mover is always difficult and moving is definitely stressful. A friend recommended Northstar emphatically. Based on that and the other reviews, I dove in and selected Northstar. Stephanie in the front office was super friendly and helpful in answering my questions. The moving team did an AWESOME job. Miguel and his team made everything so easy and stress free. They loaded things into a pod storage container like total pros solving a Tetris puzzle and helped with all the odds and ends that I needed to take to another location. I also felt the price was very reasonable. I definitely will hire them when I have the pod unloaded. Thanks team!!
Northstar moving was highly recommended to me by a friend of mine, and now I see why. These guys are machines! Brandon, Santos, Javier & Christian showed up and immediately put my mind at ease. Items that I was concerned about moving, they moved without issue. They took such amazing care of all of my items, large and small and wasted no time doing it.
After dreading the idea of this move for months now, my anxiety was relieved almost immediately after they arrived and assessed the situation. Their positivity and friendly professionalism was a breath of fresh air.
I will recommend Northstar to anyone and everyone…..but for now, time to decorate.
This company did a great job through my move. I’ve never used movers before and it ended up being a great experience. From start to finish, these guys were a huge help. We had Pedro, Joshua, and Alan. All three were very careful with our things and wrapped all of our items before moving. They did it all in one trip and were all really friendly to my wife and I. I highly recommend them!

I had a fantastic move with NorthStar Moving Company. Everything was moved quickly and efficiently and the movers were incredibly helpful and accommodating even with elevator delays from my buildings.

I initially chose this moving company last year to help move my father from one Assisted living facility to another and I was extremely impressed with their competence, timeliness, and friendly demeanor. So, I called them again for my major move out of the house I’d been living in for 10 years and into a new home. Once again, they were spot on! They completely reduced my anxiety and stress, they didn’t make me feel like my objects were a hassle to move and they continually checked in with me to see how I was feeling! I would DEFINITELY recommend this company to anyone moving, whether it’s a large job or a small one, they make sure it gets done right!!!
These guys deserve every star! This is the first time I had an superb moving experience despite the normal hiccups that happen during any move. They showed up when they said they would. They did why they said they would do. They worked with great attention to detail, communicated well and at no point tried to charge me any inexplicable fees. They called me when an item broke during the move (expected, happens). Everything they did was as unto the Lord. They serve with joy and integrity. A special thanks goes to Wendy, who rounded off the experience with paying me more than I deserved for a broken item.
