They called us beforehand to let us know when they’re arriving, and packed everything efficiently and carefully within a couple of hours.

They moved everything rapidly (but carefully!) into my new living space and placed everything in its right place.

They were super professional, kind, and clearly had the expertise to do everything in a timely manner.

Edgar and his team came and packed up our 1 bedroom SF flat in under 3 hours, wrapping our furniture and more importantly, bikes, up with great care. Service was pleasant and professional from quoting process up through packing, would definitely recommend!

David is AWESOME. Glad I know who to call since I’m only renting for a year, this guy is so kind, fast, and an excellent team leader. Crew of four helped me move from San Antonio to Austin, did an impeccable job of wrapping and taking care of all my furniture, and was incredibly helpful with some items that were just a bit too big for my puny boxes and used their own. I’m amazed that they fit my way-too-much-stuff in the one truck, I mean, amazed. The Tetris award goes to David. Great communication before the move, during, and after. Five stars easy.

Hi, one week ago we hired northstar movers. We used them 9 years ago for our previous move, and everything went smoothly both times. Ron Cohen was our contact person for the quote. Everything was done over the phone, we were able to visually show him all our furniture. The price was set, regardless of how long it took. We loved this! Safer for the crew and our belongings. Manny was the crew leader and he had 3 helpers. They work so well together, have been a team for 5 years. The entire experience was seamless and stress free. We will always use northstar

Just wanted to thank Northstar Movers for a great moving experience for a recent 100 + mile, move, from the San Fernando Valley, to La Quinta, CA.  Right off the bat, Ron gave me a fair price, beating out one other company.  Because it was a “big job” it took three trucks, and three days to move.  The five man team, headed by Romiro (sp ?) , were efficient, courteous, pleasant, and very professional.  Could not ask for a better team.  Northstar Moving executed a “Five Star” performance.  I would highly recommend this company!

Great experience from start to finish. Gil was extremely helpful with the estimate and advance planning, and Albert and his crew were efficient, timely, careful, and communicative the whole way. We had a lot of stuff, some heavy items, two stops, and some time constraints, but NorthStar took care of us. And Albert and his team displayed some serious Tetris skills when we got to the storage unit.

The guys were on time and quick.   Noah and Dave provided great communication and handled our move well.  Would highly recommend!

Just completed our local move San Francisco to San Francisco and it was all that we read about and more.  Beginning with the amazing Beatrice Gomez and her professionalism, patience with our questions, and always returning our calls.  Our move was not as easy as we had anticipated and yet Miguel and his crew made it as smooth as possible taking the tiny shared elevator, navigating parking, and always listening to any concerns in stride.  We will use them in the future and recommend them highly.  Billing was carefully explained, very fair and reasonable and with nothing unanticipated–remarkable company (and woman owned–why are we not surprised 🙂
