We just had our second move with NorthStar and returned for good reason – they’re great. Arrived on time, handled loading an entire house and several unwieldy delicate objects, and delivered it/unpacked/and checked in with us throughout to make sure objects were placed as we wished.

I’ve used Northstar Movers for the last few moves. They are very responsive and reliable. Alberto and his team showed up on time and wrapped everything, provided wardrobe boxes and carted my life from one apartment to another. The guys were very kind and I greatly appreciate all the help. Highly recommend.

Our crew was Kevin R, Jefferson A, and Jose G. Best moving experience I’ve ever had. These guys were absolutely amazing! Showed up on time and worked fast. Super gracious and polite and even helped us set up furniture that was being delivered at the same time. We had a few last minute items they needed to box up and they did so without the slightest fuss. Totally went the extra mile for us. Just a good group of guys with great attitudes. I will use Northstar for every single move at this point.
I was so hesitant on hiring movers for the first time. But having a back injury and friends schedules not lining up I took the risk and oh was I worrying for nothing. Emmanuel and Santos were in charge of my 1 apartment move. And they made sure everything and anything with what I wanted was heard. They made the move seem as if it was their own move. The amount of care and consideration is outstanding. The move provided weird angles and turns but they adapted and ensured everything was how I wanted. Every aspect of my move with NSM was incredible. They responded to me within a few hours from my initial inquiry. The woman that I spoke to over the phone arranged everything perfectly for me. They had availability and were very helpful and explaining all the different services they could offer to support my move.
Flash forward to moving day, Manny, Alfonso, and Willy were freaking awesome. They showed up on time, were incredibly efficient, were super personable and nice, and honestly a joy to work with all around. They handled all of my items with care and did an amazing job wrapping and unpacking.

this company is fantastic!!! i moved from los angeles to new york in spring 2022, and from my first phone call to northstar to the unpacking of my last box in brooklyn, i knew i was in good hands and that they’re really, really good at this. moving can be such a traumatic, stressful and scary experience, and they made it shockingly easy. they delivered white-glove service to this white-knuckled customer. i know that sounds corny. it’s also true.
alex (thank you!) inventoried the contents of my house in a thorough video call and was patient and attentive through several followup calls and emails in which i kept adjusting that inventory and changing my mind about what i wanted to keep and what i wanted to throw out. alex and kristi (thank you!) talked me through my insurance options. on moving day, four men showed up exactly on time and took about four hours to pack up the entire contents of my house (i literally didn’t touch a box) and sort out and tag everything that was going to brooklyn and everything that was to be disposed (i was still changing/updating my mind as they worked). they were efficient, careful and just plain nice. really!
they gave me a three-week window for the actual delivery on the other side of the country, and delivered everything (actually, another company does the delivery, though northstar makes all the arrangements) on day one of that window. nothing was harmed. nothing was out of place.
a million thanks to everyone at northstar (i also dealt with julie, valery and emily) for removing 99 percent of the stress from a stressful life event, and making it, weirdly, almost fun. five stars, easy.
They did a great job getting me moved out of my place and into my new one in under 4 hours. Abel, Augustine and Alejandro (the “A” team!) were great and responsive!
