We just retired, sold our house in Fremont and are getting ready to move to a new home in Las Vegas. We used NorthStar for our previous move, were happy with their service then and called them again to help us move to Nevada. I spoke with Stefy Nudel, who was very helpful, and set up an appointment for an on site estimate at our house for later in the week.
Project Manager Michael Pomeroy came out to our house on time and compiled an inventory of our items on his computer. He let us know that he would have an estimate on the cost of our move either later in the day or the next day, which worked for me.
Michael also answered all of my questions about our long distance move, which gave me great confidence that NorthStar would again make our move go smoothly.
While I haven’t written many Yelp reviews as yet, since retiring, I’ve decided to document the services we’ve received on our home sale and purchase, and related activities. Stay tuned.

If you are moving I would highly recommend North Star as they are priced right, very professional and their movers are fast yet careful, and extremely courteous. If you can get them, Ramiro, Ricky, Emanuel and William on Truck 122 are awesome!

Everything from the first call to inquire about my move until the time the move was completed and I paid the charges which were very reasonable the service and professionalism was unsurpassed!!! Oh, don’t let their estimated time/cost once they arrive to see your move scare you!! Scared the crap out of me personally but they quoted TWELVE (12) hours and competed in 4.75 INCLUDING THE DRIVE from El Monte TO Compton on a weekday!!!

First off, these guys are our saviors!! My boyfriend and I were moving from LA to Seattle and planned our move months ago with a different company. That company who will remain nameless (jk, it’s westcoast movers – DONT USE THEM!!) totally screwed us and never showed up day of and then tried to push our move back to the next day which f’ed up our plans even more. Needless to say, we called Northstar movers that day in a panic and asked if they had any availability. They were incredibly helpful over the phone (thanks Ana!) and then within just a few hours 3 men came to the rescue! They were efficient, friendly and thorough and were in and out in less than 45 minutes. I couldn’t recommend them enough! Do yourself a favor and hire these guys for your move!

Used Northstar. Easy to work with. Eduardo, Rachard, and Steven were efficient, polite and very professional. I highly recommend. Treated my apartment with care and worked hard. Great experience.
We hired Northstar to pack us up and move us. They did an amazing job!!! They arrived on time, packed our things in an orderly fashion and communicated with us throughout the day. After giving them a quick tour, we left for the day and came back to find everything boxed up and ready to be moved in the morning. I would definitely use their services again. 5/5
