NorthStar is by far the best moving company in Los Angeles and the only one I’ll ever use again.
I used them in 2016, 2018, 2020 and today (2023) was my fourth time with them. It was the best experience yet!
SHOUT OUT TO Santos Milton and Albert . They have taken incredible care of me today and yesterday! They worked incredibly hard and quickly and never once complained. They arrived promptly, communicated well, took care of all my belongings and treated me with kindness and respect. I’m not exaggerating when I tell you that they did EVERYTHING. They packed for me before the move then at the new residence unpacked and even disposed of all the trash and cardboard. I had to pay extra for the moving materials, but was happy to hear that of purchased/rented through NorthStar they will recycle and reuse moving boxes. I hate wasting brand new boxes.
They are reasonably priced given the quality of service, but I’ll admit they are more expensive than others in the area. In 2022 I tried another LA based company that was cheaper, but it was the a terrible experience they left many of my items damaged beyond repair.
So happy I came back to NS today. They are worth every penny.

I have moved at least a dozen times since graduating from college and beginning my career. I have full service movers who pack the entire house and I have had moving experiences where they load all the boxes and furniture… No longer will I be looking for a moving company when or if I am moving a short distance or across the country. NorthStar Moving Company has won my heart over. They arrived early, eager and professional. David and Tyson made suggestions on best practices and guided me with furniture pieces that are now stored and protected. Not only do they know their profession, but they care and want what is best for me, my precious goods and how to get the job done the correct way and fast.

Second time using this company and, just like the first time, they were amazing. Once again, they made the process as smooth and seamless as possible. Gil was patient, did a great job of providing different options for my needs and was super responsive when I had questions. My team of movers–Augustine, Kevin and Ubaldo–was professional, experienced, friendly, communicative, efficient and packed/labeled my items perfectly. I’d definitely recommend NorthStar to anyone looking for moving services.
Today day I’m moving. And it has been a such a stressful situation getting to this point. But luckily we have NorthStar Moving Company because guys, they saved my life when I tell you, they treated me like a family. I mean, they treated me like family. They came in, no questions asked, and they packed my stuff up. First of all, I thought my stuff was packed. They said, no, it’s not packed well enough. They made sure everything was secure. And within a couple of hours, guys, my house was packed. So then, of course, we hit the road and we headed to my new apartment. And right away they come in with my bed and they start setting it up. Guys, when I tell you I was shook, I didn’t know they’re going to do all that. Meanwhile, I just sat here looking pretty, and before you know it, the team hit the road and I was honestly sad to see them go, but so happy to be in my new home. Thank you so much, NorthStar guys. I’m here chillin in my new apartment and honestly, I feel like it’s all a dream. It happened so fast. I moved from my old place to this new place with NorthStar Moving Company, and honestly, it just felt like within a blink of an eye, I’m already in my new home and even my bed is set up because they did that for me. Great experience with using this company! Sammy and David helped me with my move. They were quick, efficient and took great care of my items to ensure they were delivered safely. I’m very satisfied with their customer service and would use them again!
I also like the fact that the company was quick to respond when I asked for a quote and answered after hours the day before the move to confirm with me.

Northstar helped my wife and I move last month. They were fairly priced and communicative throughout the process. I believe the “lead” for day was Israel, he and the other two guys did a great job. They called with their ETA which landed right in the middle of their 8-10a window. They worked quickly and were very careful with all our belongings. They took direction well and even worked with us as we decided what to put where in the new house. I also appreciated that one of the agents who helped coordinate the move called during the move to ask how things were going, the guys were doing great but this was very professional and courteous. I do not plan on moving again soon, but when I do need movers again I’ll call NorthStar.
