I was very cautious as I’ve had bad moving companies in the past, but trusted the other reviews on yelp and booked Northstar for a local move of a 3 bedroom house in Scottsdale. Here are the key points I wanted to share:
– The team showed up on time within the two hour window I was given. The lead called me about an hour before they were going to arrive, and then again about 15 minutes before they got to my home.
– The move went great, and without any problems. Jay, Lupe, and Ronnie all did a fantastic job.
– The pricing was fair. They provided the price list all up front which was an hourly rate + materials in my case. They offered to do a not to exceed estimate up front, but I declined since I was confident we could do it all in a half day. They did not attempt to gauge me with additional costs, and the final price was very close to what I estimated it at.
– The corporate office called me twice to make sure everything was going well – once in the middle of the move to make sure there was anything that needed to be changed (there wasn’t) and once after it was done to make sure everything went as expected (it did).

These guys earned every penny! Deon and Jorge were the best! They were always smiling and happy, not to mention very accommodating. They went above and beyond the call of duty, helping out with things that were not in their “job description”! They really made the move bearable. I really didn’t want to go through another move (transitions, you know) but it had to be done and they made it as painless as possible! I highly recommend Northstar Movers and please ask for Deon and Jorge. And tell them Laurie, Bruce, And Logan say hi! These guys are great, you won’t be disappointed, I promise!
Larry, CJ, Matt helped me move all my furnitures and packages and put them in the new house as if they were in the old one. They are fast, careful and professional. Really friendly guys. If I will move to a new place next time, NorthStar is my first choice if available.

I’m very very happy with the service and professional attitude of the movers. They were timely and showed great care with all our furniture. I will definitely recommend this company to all my friends and family. Mario was really terrific.
I used Northstar again to complete my move from a second storage location. I had a different team but the same excellent service. They were punctual and efficient. Lamar was terrific. I will continue to recommend them.

We used north star movers for our move yesterday and we had a great time.
The movers were very late due to a truck breaking down on another job, but they were kind and communicative about it, and gave us a discount on the move because we had to wait so long.
Once they arrived, the movers were fast, efficient, and knew what they were doing. They were funny and easy to work with.

this entire company was top notch from start to finish. i called in an emergency situation and they managed to sqeeze me in THE NEXT DAY!!!!!! they got the entire move done in FOUR HOURS!!!!! i would recommend these folks to absolutely anyone.
Great service all over. From the estimating stage where Gil came in and saw everything to the final details. Moving a 2 bedroom house full of baby stuff into a new house took 6 hours. Randy the foreman was great too. Asking where we want everything and getting it to fit.

Vatche, Jonathan , and Abraham did an amazing job of moving us! They were timely and super nice and helpful. We had so much stuff to move out of a storage unit but they handled it all really well. Thank you to Northstar for accepting our reservation last minute and providing us with such great service. We will definitely use you guys next time we need to move. Hopefully Vatche, Jonathan and Abraham will be available when we do move next time. Thanks again!
Great professional service. Jay was a rockstar and his crew victor and lupe did a great job. They treated my target and IKEA furniture like they were priceless antiques. Worked hard and got it done fast. Would use them again for sure.
Bit apprehensive based on the mixed-bag of Yelp reviews, but I needed a moving company last-minute so did not have a lot of options. All in all, had a very good experience with North Star.

Movers gave an hour’s notice at noon like they said they would, then actually showed up a bit early (12:45).
It was a small move but required three pickups at three different locations before the eventual move in. Ramiro and his two crew were very efficient, respectful, and careful with my stuff.
Their pricing model is not ideal but was explained to me fully over the phone before I booked, so there were no surprises.
