Packing Service
We had an amazing experience with NorthStar Movers. Many moving companies will try and gouge you with crazy fees and hidden costs but Northstar was very upfront and clear about costs (very reasonable!). Our Foreman Jairo and his team Art and Jose were very thorough, friendly and speedy! They wrapped and box our furniture and belongings with care and inventoried everything. I like that this company offers storage since we weren’t able to move into our new place right away. I would highly recommend NorthStar Movers, we will definitely use them again.

Our house burned down but for the garage, so we needed help quick. I chose north star as they were close to us but after having experienced their prompt
and professional service I realize I got lucky and would use them again from any distance. Robert, Jamaal and Jesse were courteous and cooperative and
the job went smoothly despite the somewhat less than ideal conditions. Beatriz in the office was on top of everything from the time I asked for an estimate to
the follow up emails and it was a great relief to get this step in our rebuilding over with, thanks again!
We did a regional move from Los Angeles to Sacramento. The price was significantly higher than two other moves, but this was essentially for an exclusive
move, and we negotiated around exact packing and delivery dates and bringing plants.
The crew at both ends were excellent. They arrived promptly on time, did great protective packing, including some very valuable antique pieces and a
Steinway piano, and worked hard but carefully to load and unload. They did a little extra moving of a few pieces for us at the house and were patient as we
did some final changes on furniture placement. This company prides themselves on excellent customer service, and we agree. Kudos and thanks to Jadiel,

First time moving within the city (San Francisco), and completely amazed with how quick, efficient, careful, and friendly the moving crew was! Plus, I really appreciate that they reuse things like wardrobe boxes – that way, you can hang up your clothing and coats, and place any loose items on the bottom, without having to pay for additional moving boxes. Wonderful service, and I strongly recommend their services for any local or long distance move!
My experience with NorthStar has been great! I was running late and didn’t have time to pack several of my belongings. When the crew of 3 movers came, they were not only prompt, but helped me pack everything and got it all out within an hour! What really amazed me was they not only helped disassemble my futon and desks, but reassembled everything back up in my new place! Everything was placed in relatively the same set up I had at my old apartment. They were very courteous and professional. Great team!
If i could give them 10 stars I would! I moved fro Alameda to Denver last month and Northstar’s reps were amazing! I wasn’t finished packing when foreman Jason and his crew arrived but they were unfazed. They went straight to work helping me finish packing and supplying larger boxes and securing those i packed. On the other side, Ivan Rodriguez and Rick Rivera also did an amazing job in getting everything moved in and set up in record time!
NorthStar moved me a couple of weeks ago and they were fantastic! It was tough to choose a company, however their Yelp reviews really helped me sift through the choices and they absolutely lived up to their excellent reputation. Ron Cohen, their Estimator, was informative, fast and thorough with his estimate and completely on target with what I could expect and what I’d be paying. What I appreciated was being given a roof for what it could cost me and told that I could have savings from that total (which I’m happy to say I did). I also used them for packing services the day before and my 3 packers were back on moving day, which also gave familiarity and comfort during what can be an incredibly stressful experience. I can’t recommend this company enough. I appreciate honesty, consideration, diligence and care and they delivered beyond my expectations!
North Star did my move from Pasadena to LA. From the moment I first call, to Ron who did the estimate and the movers, I was impressed. They were all very professional. The move went extremely well. I could not have been happier with how Edwin and his team handled it all. They were right on time, professional, and very efficient. If I ever need to move again, I know that I will be calling North Star again.
