Michael came today to give us a max estimate and made me feel so comfortable about our upcoming move! He was on time, polite, patient, and gave some great packing tips. Overall, a great experience so far. Will update after our move.

The team is awesome! Service with a smile. They are easily to sea with and makes things easier. We’re happy to have to them to help us move our things. Fred, the leader of the team has good leadership skills directing his team in what and how things have to be done. Moving went smoothly and they finished on time. Would recommend both star moving to our friends. Kudos to Fred’s team. Cheers!
This review is for the in-home estimate that I had today with Mike. Northstar gave me an hour window that the estimate would take place. Mike called me to let me know he was on his way and he arrived on-time. He was friendly, did the estimate within 15 minutes, and was able to answer our questions. Mike said that he would be sending us the estimate in the next 24 hours. I will update my review once we review the estimate and decide if we will go with NorthStar Moving when we move next month.
Review for the first half of my move (pick up and transport to short-term storage)
My movers were Jason, Jose, and Noe. They contacted me about an hour prior to their arrival and contacted me upon arrival. All three movers were professional, respectful, and efficient. I can confidently say that they exceeded my expectations. Though I know that customers cannot request by name the people they want to pick up their furniture, if you could, these 3 are the ones to ask for. I hope that when I’m ready to have my furniture delivered in SoCal, that the specific movers will be just as great! Thanks guys!
When we needed to hire movers, we knew there were a lot of options out there. I asked friends for referrals and reached out to a handful of movers that I found on Yelp. I have to say that while North Star was one of the more expensive movers I called, they were also the most professional, thorough and responsive. Their office staff were pleasant and answered all of my questions quickly. I even had one of their project managers come out to do a free onsite estimate and I’m glad I did. This way there were no surprises and it made me feel better knowing what the maximum cost would be (thank you Alan Nudel). When it came time to move last Saturday, our team of 4 were great! They were on time, courteous and friendly. They braved triple digit temperatures, high humidity and smoke and ash from a local fire that broke out the day before and did it all with a smile. Our moving team took great care of our furniture and appliances and wrapped everything very well. The lead, Leeka, always kept in close contact with us and pointed out anything that might be a concern before they put it on the truck. They were very accommodating and respectful. Thank you for making our move less stressful and for taking such great care of us. I’m so happy I decided to hire North Star. I really believe that you get what you pay for!
Flawless move. We had tons of stuff to move and Edgar and the gang did it so fast. I had nothing to worry about as they simply took care of everything! You absolutely should use these dudes!!!
I’ve used NorthStar for 2 different moves now, and both times have been outstanding. For our recent move, we worked with Ron to get a “not to exceed” estimate for pricing, and the end cost was very reasonable and lower than the estimate. We worked with the fabulous team of Arturo M, Kevin and Emmanuel on move day, and they were completely professional and helpful in every way! Highly recommend!
We moved from CA to PA. They gave us a great deal and were very easy to work with. In the move an IKEA desk was damaged. I was worried that they would not take responsibility but they did. They compensated us more than fairly. I HIGHLY recommend them.
