Great movers, hardworking guys and on time. Asked questions instead of just doing whatever, paid attention to our homes’ needs both for delivery and packing. Assembled furniture quickly and efficiently divided up our boxes and things while listening to our directions. Scheduling the move was also really easy through their phone support. Packing Service
This is the second time we’ve used Northstar, and they always do an excellent job. This time we used them for both packing and moving services. They work extremely fast and do a great job of protecting fragile items. They also send 3 or 4 guys for apartment moves versus some companies that only send 2, so it goes much more efficiently. I highly recommend them and specifically our moving team of Randy Chicas, Anthony, Tanner, and Ricardo.
NorthStar was great!! They were punctual and worked hard to get me set up in my new apartment, three flights up! They were respectful of my belongings and took the time to wrap up each piece and organize my home to my liking. Highly recommended! Thank you, Jorge J., Ruben T., and Abraham L.!
Jeremy, Junior and Carlos are the best movers I have ever worked with. My wife and I moved from directly on busy Fillmore Street in SF out to our first home in Oakland. The move had a ton of challenges between multiple flights of stairs, awkward furniture, unpacked items we ran our of boxes for, and…. Cats. They took it all in stride, moved all of our stuff out and into the new home within 3 hours and the pricing was way less than the actual value we got from them. All in all can’t recommend this second enough.

We are a repeat customer of Northstar. They are super fast (but careful) and reliable. They finished our move in half the time as our previous movers, and we are happy we chose to go with them again this time. The guys are friendly, polite, very hard workers and easy to communicate with. They moved all our stuff plus furniture, refrigerator, washer and dryer – no problems at all! They also helped pack/unpack clothes into wardrobe boxes (included) which saved a lot of time. With my husband’s back problem and my foot injury, having professional movers do it all for us was such a big help. THANK YOU Northstar Movers for being AWESOME!!!

A seriously easy and stress free move. Was able to get a quote immediately after calling and was called twice to verify moving time and actual ETA by both the company and the movers themselves. I had Edward as my mover and upon assessing my apartment, he and his movers immediately got to work. They provided all the boxes, tape, and were extremely careful with all of my items. Truly a pleasure to work with! I wasn’t able to help pack many of my items and they made sure everything was boxed, protected, and worked so quickly I didn’t have to lift a finger. Would 100% recommend these guys for any difficult move as they were able to handle thin hallways and many flights of stairs (also protected both my building and apartment from getting scratched). Great at assembling/dis-assembling my furniture and they provided a seriously competitive rate too, will plan to work with these guys again anytime I need to move in the future!

We had an amazing experience with North Star. The crew led by Jeremy Utu was fantastic. Our move was difficult – we had to move into a house on a steep slope – but the 4 guys Jeremy, Yvan, Lloyd and James were extremely professional and did some really heavy lifting to get the entire house moved in 10 hours. I would use these guys again in a heartbeat.
