Haitham, Carlos, and Marvin moved us this morning and we were very happy with their service. Northstar was highly recommended by multiple of our friends and we will definitely recommend them and use them in the future. Haitham called me 45 minutes in advance, surveyed everything and was very considerate with his team. They were very careful with all of our belongings and the building. We were also working on a much tighter timeline than they estimated due to the rules at my building, but Haitham was very even keeled about it and was able to work with our building manager to stay within their (very strict) policy. They reassemble everything at your destination and clean up after themselves. I’ve used 6 different moving companies in my life and these guys are easily the best!
Packing Service
I’ve used NorthStar for both personal and business moves and I have been so impressed by their punctuality, professionalism and most importantly, the particular care in taking care of my things. The moving crew both times were super careful with packing and moving my furniture and personal effects. The move was completed in a timely manner without any loitering or waste in time, and completed early. Can’t appreciate enough how nice it is to feel like a moving company isn’t taking advantage of you when you’re at their mercy. Thank you so much NorthStar!
Jason, Marvin , Bidal & Haitham were wonderful movers! We have used them in a move 5 years ago and happy we booked them again for this move. They were quick, efficient and careful with all the furniture and stuff. Very courteous customer service. I highly recommend them to everyone. Oh BTW, they did a video tour of our original home and gave a great estimate with a not to exceed amount so we knew how to budget unlike their competitors.
I recently used Northstar for a last minute move from Pasadena to Orange County, and they were phenomenal. Junior, William, and George were professional and courteous to me, and maintained an efficient work pace the entire time. I was thoroughly impressed by their ability to flat out get stuff done, and their willingness to help with anything. They even offered to help me set up my belongings after they unloaded the truck.
I would gladly use Northstar again, and I’m sure I would be just as pleased with their service when I did. 6/5 stars for these guys.

This is my first time hiring movers and these guys were awesome. The representative that took my call to book the appointment was professional and knowledgeable. She was able get me booked right away. What was even better was they were able to push up my appointment to the morning slot! The moving crew was also great. Very professional and courteous. They showed up on time and kept
to their word in that they would call at least an hour before. They worked very efficiently and were able to get my move from SF to Oakland done in five hours! Hats off to these guys!

Overall they did a great job. I had a weekday move and they told me they would be there from 8-10a. They called me at 8a and told me they would by there around 9:30a, which is when they arrived. They first assessed the move and brought the necessary equipment. They supplied runners, extra boxes if needed, tape, dollies and other moving equipment. We only moved to another building in the same complex and it was seamless.
Part 2 – Moving Day
Despite some initial confusion on the part of North Star as we were expecting a larger crew to make the move faster, Jesse, Kevin, and Tony just absolutely killed it again.
They worked hard, never complained, and were once again extremely efficient.
Everything was moved and unloaded and we couldn’t have picked a better crew if we were given the choice 😀
They were awesome and all in all came in under the “not to exceed” price by several hundred dollars.

The NorthStar Moving Team is fabulous!! They were so efficient in packing up almost all of my belongings in a very crowded one bedroom apartment. I went to another room for a few minutes and could not believe all they had accomplished in the short time I was gone. They are great packers and are very careful with delicate items. We were also so happy with their efficiency and care when they unpacked all of our stuff at the new place. On top of all of that, they are really nice and very professional. I couldn’t recommend them more!!
Can’t say enough positive things about our move with Northstar from SF to Seattle. They were professional, patient, and clear with their explanations of their rates and policies. They were readily available by phone to discuss the move ahead of time. They helped customize a moving plan that worked for our timeline and budget. The day of our move, Nelson and his crew arrived on time after calling us when they were on their way. They were very very friendly and efficient. They took care with our items, packing them well. Nelson was great in explaining their packing and transport procedures. I’d definitely request Nelson and his crew for any moves and Northstar overall!
Vatche and Brandon are troopers. Due to an estimate miscalculation they were expecting a quicker and far more efficient process. I have books and knick knacks galore and they patiently wrapped and packed everything while maintaining their professionalism. Northstar was recommended to me and I have not been disappointed today. These guys are wonderful and I am truly grateful for their help today.
