Had a crew of four guys. For some odd reason I always have moving day on a hot day. But these guys never complained, worked super hard and did it while being pleasant and funny. Moving day can be overwhelming and stressful but these guys did what they could to make the process smooth and stress free. I had some very fragile items and a piano and these guys were super careful and wrapped everything. I also told them my new home had a brand new paint job and floors and they took extra special care moving our stuff in. If I ever move again I would not hesitate to hire them again. And I hope I get the same crew!
Packing Service
I have to say that Junior and his team did an awesome job packing and moving our furniture. They are courteous and very professional, and very light at the same time. You almost don’t feel that they are there. Their methods of packing the big items are amazing, I’ve never seen how perfectly the mattresses and beds were boxed and wrapped.

They were on time, super friendly and it was seemless! Best in town for sure. We have used them for several moves in the past 2 years and had them store some items as well. All was handled so beautifully.
I used Northstar moving company for my move from Japantown to Hayes Valley in San Francisco. I had to move my 1bedroom apartment with bedroom, livingroom and kitchen items.
Andres, Jose, and Noe came to help me with my move. They were very efficient. Arrived on time. They packed all breakable stuff with bubble wraps.
The unloading process was faster than the loading process. They were in and out in no time!

We were looking for a moving company and North Star came highly recommended and I completely agree. The four gentlemen that moves us were AMAZING! Very polite and efficient. They were wick and extremely helpful. I highly recommend using Karan, Ricardo, Lloyd and Khalid as they are the best!!!!
NorthStar Movers were extremely helpful with my move. I called to book and the person on the line was extremely helpful and able to answer all my question. The day of the move Andres called giving me an estimated time of arrival, and Andres, Jose, and Jair showed up on time and ready to work. They carefully wrapped all my items and took great care while moving them down the stairs. When we arrived at the destination they worked carefully and efficiently to put all my furniture back together. Having NorthStar movers was a great help and I will definitely be using them for future moves!
Junior and his crew moved me out and they did a great job. Gave me a call to let me know they were coming and arrived on time. They were efficient and careful, in and out of my 1bd before lunch. Very professional and nice guys. The staff at Northstar has also been a pleasure to work with. They’re organized and responsive, and the video chat estimate is a smart idea. I’d recommend them for sure.
The most efficient and caring moving company. We were making the move from sf to Palo Alto. Making a reservation was easy plus they also do moves on Sunday. The staff was super friendly and noted all of our special requests.
The movers arrived on time with all necessary packing and moving stuff. They were really fast with packing and securing all the items from the apartment. As requested they brought tons of wardrobe boxes, which was a life saver (I have a lot of dresses). They were extra careful when wrapping all of our furniture and electronics too. They also disassembled our bed and made sure all the bed parts were securely wrapped. They assembled it for us in our new home as well.
It was a pretty hot day, but these guys worked tirelessly to get us settled in. The new place didn’t even have an elevator, and everything had to carried up two sets of stairs but they were still smiling and laughing through it.

Booking was super fast and easy. They called us an hour before arriving. 3 movers Andres, Noe, and Jose were extremely efficient and professional. All of our items arrived in perfect condition. They were extremely careful in packing and moving the items as to not damage our previous and new apartment. I would highly recommend using Northstar for any of your moving needs. We have never worked with a more dedicated team to making sure our stressful move was easy as a breeze. Five Stars!
Love our guy Steven, Michael and Moses. They worked so hard in a hot day and treated us with such respect. I feel bad everytime when they need to use the bathroom they would need to get permission. But I guess that the company’s regulation.
Items are packed nicely and treated with care. Small scratches on one of the heavy item as the stairs down is
really narrow. I witnessed them struggled to move it down. And Steven ensured us with all the claims and insurance. We are satisfy with that.
I just wish the delivery team is as efficient as this LA team here * finger crossed!!
