NorthStar made our move from Los Angeles to Las Vegas so easy. The movers were professional and efficient. They gave us a 2-3 day delivery window but they showed up next day! They took their time and packed all valuables securely. At arrival, they brought EVERYTHING into their appropriate rooms in the new house and set up all furniture and TVs! Jairo, Agustin, and Eliazar are so wonderful, very kind and thoughtful and went out of their way to make sure we were having a good experience. Everything arrived on time, in good condition, and the best part, NorthStar doesn’t consolidate so the truck they loaded is the truck that showed up next day! Beyond the movers, everyone in the office is so lovely to work with including the moving coordinator and 3rd party insurance representative. They make everything easy. We would highly recommend NorthStar to anyone doing a California move!!

This is the greatest moving company.  Expected all kinds of problems since I was moving out of state.  They were punctual, kept us up on everything that was going on with phone calls and texts.  Arrived with delivery the day after the initial move. We expected 3 to 4 days.  Nothing broken, nothing lost.   And really the nicest guys.  Willing to help with anything and everything.  Thanks to Sam for organizing the whole move.  Professional all the way.  Really couldn’t ask for better service.  Would use them again in a heartbeat.

Northstar has moved us 5 times now and twice this year. It wasn’t a great situation and the move out of Texas was booked quickly with ease thanks to Anton. One Thursday, after a scary night with Wil Co sheriff in our driveway all night, I had never been more excited to see a Northstar moving truck IN MY LIFE.  Out jump CJ and David and immediately all my worries we’re gone. They were very professional, understanding, protective and an incredible team. Usually we have 3-4 guys for our moves…. CJ and David had us packed up and ready to hit the road by the time we had to pick our daughter up from school. They were so incredibly hard working and quick! They put some of the other crews we’ve had in CA to shame. CJ and David are a dynamic duo who come from diverse backgrounds but are all around amazing men and the exact kind of ones you can trust with your belongings. David called me ahead of time to let me know our stuff would be arriving at our final destination sooner than later, collected final payment and squared us away. Myself, My husband, pups and daughter really lucked out with this team. They gave us the reassurance we needed that we were going to be ok and our stuff was packed without a chance of breakage. They took note of specific things that meant a lot to us – my husbands Budweiser neon from his dad, grandads flag from his coffin, sentimental baby items etc. By the time our house was packed and ready to go we felt our belongings were in great hands. Thank you so much David and CJ for everything. Words cannot even begin to do your hard work & love for your occupation justice. Northstar, thank you for sending us the best crew we could have asked for. We will be a long time customer and love y’all like family.

I used Northstar Moving from San Jose to Las Vegas. I found them extremely professional. I would like give a big shout out to Alex, Julie, Jason, Sal, and Edgar for always responding to all my questions in a timely manner. Even the guys who came to pick up the stuff did an outstanding job packing (Sorry, for not getting their name). Overall I was very happy with their services and strongly recommend them. They delivered everything on time.

Was moving from SF to DC, and NorthStar provided me the most affordable quote by far out of the 10+ companies I contacted.  They were prompt, fast, and professional, and my stuff ended up arriving in DC way faster than I had expected.  Overall just a really smooth experience.  Highly recommend!

Austin and Alex came to pack our truck for our move cross country. Both the guys were great and helpful with putting stuff in the truck and getting everything organized, taping up priceless items and wrapping things we wanted in plastic wrap. Highly recommend using them for all moving needs!

Inquired several companies for my move from California to Texas and ended up getting a referral from a smaller moving company that wouldn’t be able to do our move since they are limited to 2 bedroom apartments.

After reading all the reviews about Northstar, I felt pretty confident that I would get excellent service for my long distance move.  My last move was a local move 8 years ago and had a great experience with the moving company; however the reviews started to reflect poorer service so I decided to go with Northstar.

From the very beginning, Northstar was responsive and Lorena was my moving specialist and was so easy to deal with from the very beginning.  We did the virtual estimate and gave me a price, which was high but knowing that the costs for moving have gone up, I thought it was reasonable.  3 days prior I sent them an updated inventory and Lorena sent me an updated estimate which increased the cost but I added a significant amount of items.  

On move day, the crew called when they were about 40 minutes from my home.  Manny, Alfonso, Willy and Mauricio came into the home to confirm what needed to be taken.  They arrived at 9AM and and finished everything at 3PM with a lunch break in between.  All 4 of the guys took a lot of care when wrapping and would make sure to point out any damage that existed on my furniture.  I have a 2800sq ft, 4 bed/3.5 bath home and was amazed at how efficient and professional the guys were.  I give them 5+ stars for an awesome job.  Thank you Northstar for an amazing experience and making things so much easier.

I’ll write an update once I arrive at my new home in Texas and receive my belongings.  I don’t anticipate any less than 5 star service when I get to my destination.  Thank you guys!

Northstar movers was extremely fast, reliable and responsive. I was super skeptical of using movers for our long distance move from SF to LA as I have many valuable items. They made sure to carefully wrap and pack everything while guiding me through the process. The delivery down in LA was similarly fast and reliable. They asked where everything needed to go and even reassembled the bed. Amazing amazing service and would definitely use them again for my next move!

We recently used Northstar Moving to help us relocate from California to Austin, Texas right before the holiday.  This wasn’t our first cross-country move, but it was one of the best.  They helped provide us a quote, schedule a packing day, move-out and move-in all within a few short weeks.  We moved from a three story town home into a single family home in Austin – with all the things that come from living in a home for several years, including fragile items, cookware, furniture, televisions and electronics etc.

When our stuff arrived we had another excellent crew help move our stuff into our home.   All of our stuff arrived, undamaged, and in the exact condition it was packed in.  They made it so much easier to settle into our new home.  I’d highly recommend using them if you are exploring a local or cross country move.
