My family had a one in a lifetime opportunity to move to California from Airzona in no less than a week and we contacted north star moving company in Airzona and we don’t regret it at all. i never had such a good experience with a moving company! my moving guys were Alex the head guy, Martin, John and i’m sorry i forgot the names of the other 2 movers. they worked really well together and were like a well oiled machine: fast and efficient. Alex was very good in communication with me all day and letting me know whats going on with his guys as well as what the next steps for the move are. they were even kind to our kids, joking around and making them feel less stressed out during the move. i was very grateful for the combination of a really professional group that was also friendly and nice to be around. it was a long day but everything made it ok and we are all happy to be in our new home! thank you north star for a job well done!
Long Distance Move
UPDATE 12/28/15 – Just moved from California to Arizona and used Northstar a third time. Excellent service as always. The movers (Shay and José) brought everything in perfect condition and triple-checked that nothing was lost in the shuffle. Great work all around.
Amazing job! Art, David and Karran were total pros from start to finish. We had a one-bedroom apartment filled with a heavy king-sized bed, an exercise bike, tables, couches, chairs, wardrobe boxes, flat screen TV and all of the other usual things. They handled it all perfectly. On-time and very friendly. We would highly recommend Northstar — especially this team — to everyone. Office workers are excellent too. Very responsive to all needs — even on the weekends.
When we found ourselves ready to move and had a house filled with memories that I wanted moved, I called NorthStar. Again. We had so much…we were exploding at the seams. Not one complaint. David F. came prepared with the most wonderful team…James, Ruben and Anthony Z. They never stopped…four energizer bunnies running, wrapping, lifting and packing…it was a flurry of caring hands wrapping our most precious belongings. I can’t say enough good about this crew….or the office staff that scheduled our appointments promptly and with a smile. Hey guys…can you hear me….YOU ROCK! You are special and I hope the delivery team is as special! They ended a very long day…very long with a smile…I have photographic proof 🙂
LA guys who packed us up were amazing, I wish there were 6 stars. Detail oriented, friendly, fast, efficient and careful with our belongings.

David and his crew were awesome! They were courteous and hard working. They went out of their way to take extra care with all our belongings and furniture. I would highly recommend this moving company!

Highly recommended .The team did a tremendous job .. I also would like to specially thank Mark A Mourning and his team for their kindness and his willingness to help with unpacking and assembling. I was helped by Mark in getting the invoice after i realised that i had lost it somewhere . This was one week after i got my stuff . He took his time to scan and send it to me . Thanks Mark !
Final Update:
Thanks to the phenomenal customer service from NorthStar Movers’ HR department, I am able to confidently update my review to 5 stars. I was able to satisfactorily resolve the issue I had regarding my broken lamp, and I am also pleased and convinced that my poor experience with the previous manager was a one-off and not the level of service this company would typically provide.
Also, their visit to my office building for a moving quote was efficient, polite, friendly, and timely. Although the decision of which moving company to use for our business move isn’t up to me (our home office decides this) I am pleased we got an opportunity to get a quote from them and was satisfied with the service.
Totally recommend Northstar if you want to move, long distance or short! Calvin has a great team with him, arrived on time, took great care of my properties and is extremely professional. Thanks!!
