I am so happy with the moving services from Northstar! They were on time, friendly and took such great care of our things. Everything was wrapped extra cautiously and I felt comfortable with even our most fragile items. Definitely use Northstar if you are moving in the Bay Area! The customer service when you call in was amazing too, such nice people.
Local Move
I was very happy with the service 🙂 from the moment I contacted them, they were very quick at answering and making all the right questions. The day of the move, they came over 30 mins earlier which impressed me and they moved everything with extreme caution. We were done packing, loading and unloading in 3 hours. Thank you so much!
Reggie, Davell, and Jordan were an absolute pleasure to work with! WE COULD NOT HAVE DONE THIS WITHOUT THEM. Not only were they professional, but they were also very timely and careful with everything they moved from point A to point B without an elevator (not to mention we’re on the top floor of a four-story building). HANDS DOWN would use Northstar Moving again and would request this crew because of the fantastic job they did.
Just did a local move from Chandler to Queen Creek. Neighbors previously used NorthStar for their local move and had a fantastic experience, so we went with their recommendation. The quote significantly beat other companies, but the 4 guys (Austin, Kyle, Alex and Deontre) were fast, careful, respectful and accommodating throughout the entire day. I highly recommend them for whatever your needs are. Worth the investment and peace of mind.

Reginal, Jordan, and Davell were so quick and so efficient with my move. They arrived on time (20 minutes early actually) and were able to move my 1-bedroom amount of stuff in just three hours. They took great care of my belongings and wrapped all my fragile items super securely. I used two other moving companies in San Francisco in the past and this was by far the fastest and easiest move I’ve ever done. I’ll definitely be returning to this company for any of my future moves in the Bay.

I really liked the straightforward rate & the use of wardrobe boxes (up to 8 at no charge!) which cut my expenses & left me with one less thing to deal with afterwards

Moving is very stressful, especially when you have about 3000 sq ft warehouse inventories.
(Even my staffs were getting stressed out just thinking about moving all the stuff lol)
Though I felt it would take the entire day to move, I had to book (3 movers, 1 truck) for Saturday afternoon since morning was already booked.
I’m sure they were at least a bit tired since it’s not their first job of the day.
However, they were very professional and moved all items safely w/o damaging a single item.
Even though most items were boxed, there were still quite a lot of things that we gave up boxing.
And Nick’s crew wrapped/boxed everything safely for us including tons of metal pieces from our heavy duty shelving units.
Nick’s crew (Nick, Javier, and Ruben) are hard working pros.
While I felt tired just watching them move our things, Nick didn’t give up on showing his positive work ethic which I appreciated a lot.
I also shared my worries about the possibility of the fee ending up more than I expected prior of moving. And Nick responded they’ll try to work fast & safe to not go over my budget. (He also assured me several times during the move) And as he mentioned, the moving fee didn’t go over my budget.
My staffs and I still can’t believe the move was completed in 7~8 hours.
While moving itself is stressful and I felt sorry for making Nick, Javier and Ruben move lots of heavy stuff, it turned out as a pleasant experience and I really really appreciate all of them for their hard work and professionalism.
I hope not to move anytime soon with heavy loads of stuff again. But I would definitely ask for Nick’s crew if I need to and recommend them for anyone trying to move their stuff safely.

We used Northstar moving company to move us after 26 years from a single level house to a two story home. David was very thorough and precise about our bid, coming to house to evaluate. Nick Acosta our team leader was excellent, as were his additional team members. It took approximately 11 hours, there is no way we could have done it without their help. They were courteous and professional, I highly recommend them for your next move.
My family recently Moved across the city and with NorthStar it was a breeze. Moving is never easy and quite stressful but Robert, Alex, and Matt made our transition simple. They were able to move our entire 3 bedroom condo in one day and reassemble all the furniture! They even had to carry some heavy pieces up 4 flights of stairs because they wouldn’t fit in the elevator (Sorry fellas). To be honest I hope I never move again but if we do I’ll request Robert and his crew for sure!
