I had the great the fortune of becoming reacquainted with an old friend of mine, Joe Isaacs, which allowed me to be turned on to the services of Northstar Moving Co. I was interviewing a number of moving companies, but based on my knowledge and respect for Joe as person and friend I chose Northstar.
The three movers on the Northstar crew (crew chief Omri, Jose and Doron) arrived in a timely fashion and proceeded to work diligently throughout the day at my house. they were kind, smart, motivated, and my neighbors and I enjoyed them there. I also thought they took great care and pride in proving me excellent moving services.
Coincidentally, a good friend is moving his home from Brentwood to Santa Monica and happened to ask me if I could refer him to a moving company. I immediately suggested Northstar based on my positive experience with Joe, the moving crew and the entire moving experience.

Your men were prompt, courteous, and careful, and they were remarkably efficient. Our load included a piano which had to be moved up into the second-floor living area of our home — your team planned carefully and executed the lift with remarkable strength and care. We have just now completed unpacking, and we have detected no damage to any of our goods!
We completed the first phase of this move a few weeks ago, with another mover. That move was with an undersized truck and inadequate provisioning, and it cost nearly double the estimate. I couldn’t have asked for a more flawless move! Frankly, I was not looking forward to this aspect of my life. In my view, moving is comparable to getting a tooth pulled. This letter is late in coming but it has taken us some time to get settled in and unpack all the boxes. We are getting closer to feeling more “at home” in our new house.
Please be sure you relay to Justin and his crew the great job they did on our move May 26th. They were very conscientious in doing the best job possible. They took extra care in loading all the fragile items. They were very pleasant and polite.
Most of all we were impressed with the super job they did in arranging our furniture by working off our floor plan. since we were so exhausted and could not follow them to our new home in Palm Desert; we trusted them by giving them the keys to the house and allowed them to unload the furniture without our being present.
It was late in the evening when they arrived and I’m sure they, too were exhausted but despite that our beds were put together, furniture in place, boxes in garage arranged in an orderly manner.
