This is to let you know what an outstanding experience I had with NorthStar Moving. I had the privilege of using NorthStar twice — both on March 28 and on April 10 when I completed the move when my apartment was ready to move into. Northstar moved us on March 13th and shortly after the move I called to tell you how great your movers were. Now that we have gotten around to unpacking all of our boxes we felt compelled to contact you again. My first encounter with Gadi and North Star occurred several years ago when I worked for Angelina Jolie as her personal assistant. This particular move occurred during a time of personal stress for Ms. Jolie, and the tabloids were hovering around her house. At one point the paparazzi tried to bribe several of the North Star movers with a hefty amount of cash. Not only did the guys turn down the bribe, they promptly told the photographers what they could do with the money! With no other incentive other than professionalism, both Gadi and the crew did everything to ensure Ms. Jolie’s privacy during the subsequent two full days of packing and moving. And if that wasn’t enough, their skills at wrapping, packing and loading everything from large odd-shaped objects to fine china, was – and is – superb.

They approach every job with the same level of high-quality service no matter how “high profile” or “low profile” the client may be. I paid $320 for a three man crew to move us into a 3rd floor apartment on Saturday, December 11th.
The three guys you sent out were beyond awesome. They worked like their shorts were on fire! Not once did I see any of the three stop or slow down. It was the most amazing effort I’ve ever seen. They emptied our two bedroom apartment in less than one hour and took painstaking care to package both of our televisions.
We inherited a 48″ tv that our “friends” didn’t want to move again for us. Two of these guys put the tv on a dolly and moved it to the 3rd floor without incident. They told us that they moved a piano during their morning move that day. That’s a heck of a lot of lifting for one day…these guys are really good workers.
They unloaded all of our things in an hour and a half and we made it under the 3 hour minimum. My husband and I were so relieved and happy that we chose NorthStar.
We filled out a request for moving quotes from the MoveCenter at www.Rent.com. We received 8 phone calls from moving companies. The hourly rates ranged from $65-$96 with North Star being the most expensive. North Star was one of the few companies to actually send the emails we requested. The top deciding factors for us were:
