First off, please accept our apologies in not writing this letter sooner. As we are sure, you know it takes awhile to get back on track after a major transition.
In January of this year, we used your company for a second time to move us into a new facility and we are very pleased to say that, once again, the service was excellent! Based on our prior experience with the company we came directly to NorthStar this time instead of seeking out other moving companies to compare pricing and service. Gadi came out and gave us an estimate, and as always he was very pleasant and professional and when we had to push back our move date, he was extremely accommodating.
Once we were finally ready to move, we were able to schedule a crew very quickly and our original estimate still stood. On moving day, the crew arrived promptly, was very efficient and thorough, and even helped us to take apart shelving and furniture. Our foreman, Shay was incredibly helpful and professional, consistently checking in with us to ensure things were running smoothly. The rest of the crew, Iro, Hain, Tomer, Gal, and Maor all worked diligently and carefully, moving so fast that we were packed and ready to go well within 2 hours! Upon arriving at our new facility, the crew again moved very quickly and cautiously so as not damage any furniture and to make certain everything was arranged as per our instruction. All of these gentlemen deserve reward and praise for their hard work.
At the end of the day, the move had taken approximately 4-5 hours and our total amount came well below the estimate! Our encounters with NorthStar from the receptionist answering the phone, to Gadi, to Shay and his crew have been nothing short of wonderful and we would not only highly recommend Northstar to our friends and business associates fantastic service and your ongoing efforts to make one of the most hectic and stressful things in the world (moving) as easy and hassle free as possible. Dave and I were so impressed and pleased with how well you took care of us for our move at the end of February. When you came to quote us a price, your thoroughness, honesty, and warmth made me feel right away that we were in good hands. On the day of the move, Roberto and his team handled all of our belongings with great care yet still moved swiftly and efficiently throughout the day. Additionally, we were unable to pack everything ahead of time because I was traveling and ended up getting stuck out of the country until the day of the move–but they packed everything quickly and were able to finish the job in the estimated time, despite having to pack most of our belongings! From our past moving experiences, we know that movers who try to get the job done as quickly as possible instead of “running the clock” are very rare and much appreciated!

We wanted to write to express our thanks for a fantastic moving experience. We moved on March 2, 2007 from Menlo Park, CA to Palo Alto,CA with Nick and his 4 men crew. Nick and the guys arrived promptly and were very professional. Not a single thing was broken or damaged. Most of all, Nick didn’t bat an eye when he saw how much there was to pack. He and the guys worked diligently from 8:00am to 6:00pm packing and moving us, then they unloaded our storage items at the storage facility. It was a 12+ hour day for them, and they were professional all the way.
We are planning to move again in a few months and we will definitely call NorthStar. Next time we will request Nick (and maybe a bigger crew, so they don’t have to put in such a long day). We will recommend NorthStar to everyone we know.

I’ve been meaning to write and say thanks for making my move from San Francisco to Oakland as pleasant as possible. You sent a terrific crew: they arrived at the beginning of the estimated time, they moved me out of my 3rd floor wake-up apartment at lightening speed, followed me to a furniture store for a pick up and moved me into my new home with such care. The lead fellow, Barry, was easy to work with and kept his crew – Tom, Miguel and Ephraim – organized and motivated. When it came time to tally up the bill, it all made sense and I was happy to pay it. I even got a hug from them! How many other frazzled customers can say they want to hug their movers at the end of the day?
The great experience actually began on the phone with Lynn who landed the sale by taking real pride in the company and endorsing her fellow employees with words like “reliable,” “polite,” “trustworthy,” and “efficient.” They were all that and more. There are many moving companies to choose from and many horror stories floating around about unscrupulous businesses. Lynn made me feel like I was making a good choice and I’m happy to say that even weeks after the move, I still feel like I made the best choice.

Our family moved from Tarzana to Agoura Hills three weeks ago. Your team from Northstar – Shahan (foreman), Enrique L., Jose K., Avi, Shy and Adam were exceptional. They packed us up on one day and moved us in record time the next.
