Elmer, Jose and Agustin arrived right on time for my move! They worked carefully and efficiently to load all of my personal belongings from a storage unit to their truck – in under and hour – WOW! When we arrived at my new apartment, I realized that the storage unit I rented at the complex was not going to be big enough to handle my “stuff” overflow…Elmer, Jose and Agustin were extremely patient as I tried to figure out on the fly which items should be in the house versus the apartment….even with all of MY confusion – they stayed calm and patient with me – THANK YOU! This team of movers completed my move in only 3 hours and 45 mintues…without damaging anything! The last mover I hired damaged my fridge and amoire and it took them 7.5 hours to complete the same move! Moving is never fun really, but I appreciate the service with a smile and the excellent job EJ &A did for me….it made my day so much easier! Thank you!

I have moved 5 times in the last 5 years and NorthStar ranks as the best moving company I have used. From estimating to working with my schedule at short notice and the actual move they were excellent. Ron Cohen helped make me comfortable that I wouldn’t be charged more than the estimate and the packers and movers did a great job fast. I found the company on Yelp and will never use anyone else again. They moved me from Woodland Hills to West Hills and I ended up paying them slightly less than the estimate – can you believe that! Great work guys and highly recommended.

I found this company on Yelp and they were great from the beginning, i scheduled for the move on the phone and the lady suggest that one of their rep. To come to our apartment and make a quote that the price will not exceed, which is good not to be surprised at the end of moving day!! The guy came on time his name is Ron and gave us several quotes depending on the work, we choose one. On the moving day 4 movers came on time they were very professional They wrapped and packed every thing in very short time! Very impressive! Also the unpacking was great, they did almost everything but the kitchen stuff,, and the end the price was less than we expected which made us very happy.. Excellent company made our move very easy…

North Star was fantastic, they took care of my furniture perfectly! They made my moving experience a great one, and I look forward to using them in the future. Staff was very helpful and continued to check up and see how everything went. Great company, certainly would recommend them to anyone who is thinking of moving and moving without all the hassle and trouble that comes with it. They are a bit pricey and sometimes there are some extra fees they put on, but they do tell you about them in advance though (even if you don’t really agree about how things are charged)

I literally just got done using them today.. It was a trip from Sherman Oaks to Manhattan Beach.. I have never used a moving company before, however this time I have much more stuff that needed better handling then myself and some friends, so I turned to yelp to find a company that had some great reviews and also had a decent price. North Star blew me away.. First of all, they were professional from the beginning.. But don’t fill in the Quick Quote, it just seemed like a waste of time; just have them come to your place to scope it out. They showed up for the appointment on time and they were really good and gave me a good deal for 3 guys at $115/hour. I needed some kind of guarantee because I didn’t want to pay hourly for the 405 if there was an accident. To my luck, there wasn’t. I boxed up what I could, and the guys showed up early, ready to go.. They immediately started working, non stop, the paperwork was filled out and simple; and if there was a mark on the furniture, they brought it to my attention so I was aware, which I was impressed. Once everything was loaded up, I met them in Manhattan Beach at my house. It was definitely a challenge because they had to carry my 65″ TV up a long flight of stairs along with other valuable furniture; but everything was handled great. Javier was the lead guy and was extremely friendly and helpful. The guys worked really fast and they were even under my original quote! I gave them a nice tip for their hard work. I highly recommend this company and I will use them again. The only downside I would say, is that they originally told me they didn’t have insurance and I was to use a third party; but then when I filled out the paperwork, they had some kind of included insurance. Luckily I forgot about the third party insurance and so I wasn’t mad about it. Great job Ron, Javier, and the gang!

Our second moving experience with NorthStar in two years. Staff members are friendly, flexible, competent and efficient – a pleasure to deal with. Pre-move, the flow of information is very helpful. Highly recommended!

I just moved 2 wks ago and they sent a 4 man team with 2 trucks for 150/hr. It took me from 8 AM to 1 pm to move all my boxes/ 2 fridges/2 TVs for a 3 bedroom 2000 Sq Ft house. ( this was a local move) They came a day in advance gave me an estimate for no more than $1500 for what may be a 10 hr job, and I only had to pay a 1000 for how efficient and quick they were. There was no lies and no BS like the last company pulled on me ( bringing a small truck so they had to load and reload and take more time!!) . With North star I was done by 1 PM and I even gave each worker 50 bucks for being so fast! It was a HOT day and god bless them for doing such a great job. I loved how I knew what I was dealing with and everything was so up front. Kudos to Ben and his team.

I can’t say enough good things about this company. The were helpful on every level. They showed up 20 minutes BEFORE 8. They worked hard and were very polite. They also made suggestions to help us save money with our move. I would recommend them to everyone.

I wish there were more stars to give NorthStar. I recently moved from Georgia to California in kinda of a hurry. I made a decision to call three moving companies before committing and I am happy to say I never made it past the second call; NorthStar was call number two and there was no need to look any further. Lynn was my representative, and she took responsibility from the first call until delivery date. Once my items were scheduled to be picked up, I also began to work with Adam who was in charge of dispatching and delivery. Adam was simply PHENOMENAL!!! Every commitment was completed, every call returned and every question answered. They really made me feel like I mattered and my move was the most important item on their list. I also commend the movers who delivered and reassembled my furniture. They too were courteous and helpful. Providing placement ideas for my items and offering to go beyond my expectations. I am so impressed! I have never had the liberty to meet Lynn or Adam, but I send them the biggest hug and thank you
