I had a great experience with this moving company. This was the first time i’ve ever used movers and it certainly won’t be the last. The moving team was fast, efficient, extremely courteous and nice. I would recommend this company to anyone in need of their services.

Fastest, most professional movers I have ever used. They did not even complain about the lack of elevators in the apartment I was moving out of. They may not be the least expensive, but it is worth it when you consider the care they used in moving my possessions. Highly recommended and would definitely use them again.

NorthStar Moving was fantastic. I called around to get quotes and even though NorthStar was a little more expensive, because of Jessica’s personality and assurance that everything would be done with superb service, I went with them. Because I had procrastinated I was looking for movers a few days before I had to be out of my apartment. They were able to be at my place early, before their stated hours of operation. The movers were scheduled to be there at 7am, and arrived at 6:55. They walked through the apartment and looked at what I had to still do and what they had to do and started the clock only after they had looked through and gotten dollies and such up in the building. They were professional, efficient and personable. They loaned me wardrobe boxes for the move so I could put a lot of smaller items in there and wouldn’t have to spend time packing these or tracking them. When we got to the new house, they unpacked all the wardrobe boxes. The movers wrapped all of my furniture carefully and with great precision. Everything was intact, in good condition and nothing had even a scratch on it. I had just gotten the floors refinished in my house and they were extremely careful so as not to damage the refinishing job. THEY WERE EXCEPTIONAL, with amazing service beginning with Jessica, throughout the move and finishing back with Jessica calling to make sure everything had gone according to plan. I highly recommend NorthStar.

Moving is one of the most stressful events in a persons life. I have moved many times in my life, I’ve done it on my own, I’ve used moving companies, and I’ve hired moving helpers. NorthStar Moving Company was by the far the best! They came in, got the job done, did so quickly and efficiently! Daniel was very courteous and professional and so was the rest of the crew. A nice touch was a sales representative stopping by and checking in on me to make sure I was satisfied with the service, the nice gift with chocolates was a nice touch too! Anyway, they made made my life easier during a stressful event, anyone capable of doing that deserves a good review on Yelp!!!

I’ve used NorthStar Moving for my last two moves, and while they’re a little pricey, the professionalism is definitely worth it. My team of movers was super fast, moving me across LA in no time at all. And the customer service rep made me feel confident that everything would be taken care of. Moving can be stressful, but it doesn’t have to be, so chip in the extra money and let NorthStar take care of the rest!

I used Northstar again recently and was very pleased with my second experience with them. They were very friendly, accommodating, and fast. Price was definitely fair, but customer service was the standout. It’s nice to work with a company that wants to make sure you are happy and works hard to make it a good experience for you. I have no hesitation in recommending them highly again after having a great moving experience with them twice in a row. Ask to have Ron Cohen for your flat-rate moving inspector and he’ll take care of you, and don’t forget to ask for the yelp discount.

NorthStar Moving helped my boyfriend and I move from our place in Fullerton, CA to Los Angeles, CA. And I am happy to say that we couldn’t do it without them. Everyone – from the Client Loyalty Rep to the Estimator to the 3 Movers – was so kind, helpful, and hardworking. The Client Loyalty Rep worked with me for the right time to get an Estimator out. This was the first time my boyfriend and I were moving with a lot of stuff, so we were definitely weary, but knew we needed help from a moving company – we couldn’t do it on our own. So, the Estimator came out to our place on time and took about 30 mintues to look over the place, give us our estimate, assure us that the price would not be more than the estimate, tell us about the YELP deal that we could use, and answer any questions we had about our first move. We scheduled the move right then and there to ensure our spot was held, even though it was a few weeks out. Then, the moving day came. The 3 guys arrived 30 minutes early and were ready to go. They came up to look at the place and with a quick glance, knew exaclty what they needed to do and how they needed to do it. They had medium boxes available if we needed more – which we did! And they even gave us free wardrobe hangers for all of our clothes – we had to give these back at the new place, but how nice! Within 2.5 hours, they were all packed up and ready to go to LA. When we arrived in LA they called us to let us know that they were there. They didn’t even take a lunch break! After we showed them the elevators and the new place, they began bringing the boxes up and placing them whereever we liked. We unpacked the wardrobe boxes as they brought things up – we had about 20 medium boxes, a bed, mattress, plasma TV, glass table, kitchen table, chairs, dresser – and they unloaded everything in about 2 hours. Amazing! I would definitely recommend NorthStar to anyone and everyone. They made the move day for my boyfriend and I a lot easier and more calm than we thought it would be. 🙂 Which is MORE than we could have asked for. Everyone is worried that on the move day you will forget something, or get angry, or frustrated, but NorthStar really had it all under control. Their calm demeanor gave us, in turn, a calm feeling as well. Thank you, NorthStar, for a great memory!!

Great overall service. I’ve used them before and when I called to schedule they gave me the rate of my move from 3 years ago. 3 men, one truck for a 1 bedroom. I scheduled early (8am-10am) and they arrived at 7:30 which was perfect. They phoned and asked if I was ready and if not they could wait! I said come on! They loaded the truck in an hour and change and got to my new place in record time. The whole move was 3 hours and change, and a bargain with the yelp coupon. George and his team were great and friendly and hard working. I will use Northstar again for sure.
