This is our 2nd time using North Star Movers, this time moving from our rental house to our new home. I used them again because we were very satisfied the 1st time. They will even pack things up for you if you would like, they disassembled furniture and will reassemble as well. They also package and make sure all your belongings such as fridge or televisions or dressers are protected and things don’t fall out of them.
During this move we had John W., James W., and Juan R. We highly recommend them and this company. If we were to move again in a few years or way later down the road we would definitely use them again; and definitely recommend others to use them for movers.
After our move a representative follows-up, I spoke to Beatrice and she’s been very helpful.

I am glad that I decided to move with NorthStar. On time, quick, move done in 5 hours (with nearly 2 hours drive time…). Wow. Very professional.
One of the moving-guys came up to me during the move to tell me that he had to lock up the van due to a suspicious guy hanging out by the van while he was loading it. I appreciated that and we all when downstairs to double check on things.
My advise: Moving is stressful enough – don’t add to it – go with NorthStar. (and remember to please tip them if they do a good job!)

Christian, Giovanni, and Julio were young and extremely professional and helpful. I couldn’t have asked for a better crew or moving experience. They worked quickly and did not waste anytime getting their work done. I’d recommend these guys any day of the week.
Our experience with NorthStar was excellent. Really can’t praise these guys enough.. they work so hard and are super professional – all around nice people. They not only finished much earlier than estimated, but took the time to pack everything securely – something I really appreciated. They are extremely resourceful too. I did a lot of research before hiring movers, and they were very competitive with pricing. On top of that, because they finished earlier, the final price of the move was less than originally estimated – a pleasant surprise to say the leat. I’m always a little wary of hiring movers with all the scams going on, so I was really relieved when I knew we found an honest and reliable company. Thanks so much for great service guys! Had a very positive experience with these guys with my move last weekend. Coordinated the reservation through the phone with a friendly employee, and all correspondence was quick and thorough. The movers were 45 mins later than agreed-upon on move day for an unknown reason, but they called to let me know and were friendly as could be. They did a good job wrapping the few things I hadn’t already boxed up (mainly furniture) and packed the truck efficiently. The Yelp coupon was a great savings as well. Recommend them for your next move – fair price for the service and well worth the reduced stress during a move.
