My family and I just had NorthStar Movers referred to us from a family friend. They showed up on time, got to work quick, and I never saw them even take a break! They wrapped all of our heavy furniture in blankets and plastic to make sure that nothing was damaged and moved our whole house with ease. I know that I would have never been able to do half the stuff that they did moving it into our new place with all the stairs and tight corners. They never missed a beat, and didn’t damage a single thing. Could not be more happier. My wife and I and our 2 boys are so thankful for the service they provided. I will be using them again when we move in the future, without a doubt.

I was nervous about hiring movers, but had a good experience with the NorthStar Moving team for a local move in the LA area. They arrived on time, worked quickly, and I actually ended up paying less than I expected because everything went so fast. They did charge for materials, but that didn’t add up like I expected – they were very fair. They made sure to put back together anything they took apart to put in their truck, which in our case was one bed and a few lamps. We haven’t found anything damaged or missing in the move. (To be fair, we did move fragile valuables like work computers, musical instruments, and jewelry ourselves. I would recommend this to anyone hiring movers.) Some other reviewers here have claimed they were offered compensation for a review, but I wasn’t. I’m posting this because I found other reviews helpful when I was researching moving companies so now I’m trying to help as well. I’d recommend NorthStar for local moves in the LA area.
