I have heard horror stories about moving companies. From broken items, lazy workers to not unpacking your items unless you gave them more money than negotiated. We had none of this with Northstar. From the initial call, detailed pricing and confirmation, it was a very good experience. Our movers Antonio, Junior and Lloyd were amazing! They showed up on time and worked very hard and quickly from start to finish. Every item was meticulously packed and not one item was broken or scratched. The house was completely set up and all we had to do is unpack boxes. The job took longer than originally anticipated, but to no fault of their own…50+ years of stuff and a 70 mile trip made the move longer. If you want an outstanding moving company, look no further. Excellent moving experience from start to finish. Moved from West LA to Claremont. Received referral from a family member who had a positive experience. Scheduled estimate with Gil who was extremely professional, polite, and fast. He walked through our home and provided us with an accurate estimate in about 15 minutes. Answered all of my questions and was very flexible. Moving company called to confirm crew arrival several days before move. Movers called on day of move to confirm and arrived early. We moved over 2 days to avoid overtime as per Gil’s recommendations and had Eduardo, Jessie, Jimmie, and several others – all were excellent! We had a few last minute questions on Sunday (2nd day of move) and Gil was available, answered the phone and all of our questions. Eduardo was very professional and oversaw packing, as well as moving and unpacking on the following day. They made sure all boxes were put in the right rooms and even helped unpack and organize!! Super nice guys! Actual cost of move was 50% less than estimate because movers were so fast. Hire this company – you will not be disappointed!
Northstar has helped us move twice in the past year and were excellent both times. I regrettably do not have the names of the first team who helped us in August of 2015 when we moved from Berkeley to Oakland. They were top notch, professional, and worked very quickly. This time around, we worked with Nelson, Isael, and Carlos, who were just as professional and worked very quickly. They called 30 minutes before arrival, were courteous to me and my husband, and asked questions when necessary. We are grateful for their services! Thank you!

Incredible efficiency and quality of work. Had all the needed boxes and were super fast with wrapping up some little remaining things we had to pack . Simply wow. I had the pleasure of working with Northstar movers back in December 2015. Xavier and his crew were punctual, efficient and extremely professional. I was shocked by how quickly they packed up, loaded then unloaded all of my furniture and boxes! Very fair and reasonable pricing as well.
