I hired NorthStar based on their mostly positive Yelp reviews, and they did a great job overall and deserved a 5/5 rating after moving my 2+ bedroom house within the Bay Area. They carefully loaded and unloaded the truck, efficiently used the time and overall were very professional. I must say that I was a little skeptical about what they could do when they showed up because the team looked very young, but they proved me wrong.
This is my honest review after 3 months of moving, and I was not offered a discount or any compensation to write this review. If you hire them, don’t forget to use the offer on their Yelp page to save some money.

Scheduling an appointment was super easy and quick. They worked with me on scheduling, and was even responsive after the appointment was made (I needed some forms filled out and Gloria returned it the same day).

Arturo and Wilbur were on time, professional and careful with my belongings. My move couldn’t have gone better and it was on one of the hottest days of the year, but not a word of complaint from either one of them.

Jason, and his team were awesome! We were seriously in need of help and these guys really came through for us! I would call NorthStar, super flexible, friendly, and are attentive to how you need the job done done to your specifications! These guys even help us set up our bed and puzzle of furniture at the new place 🙂
Carlos and his team came today to help us move from 2 locations in Fremont to Dublin. They were excellent — friendly, helpful, careful, and more. We were wondering how a company could maintain its 5-star rating with over 700 reviews and now we know. Their rate is very good considering the guys’ service and hard work, and especially with the Yelp deal of $90 off. To say that we highly recommend this moving company would be an understatement!
We used NorthStar for a local move. I was very impressed all around. Before hiring them, I thought I was going to pack up our stuff because I couldn’t imagine trusting strangers to do it. But after the exhaustion of actually packing a few boxes set in and I watched some of NorthStar’s YouTube videos on their process, I decided to give them a try. And they did not disappoint. All of our stuff – even the cheap stuff – was carefully wrapped and securely packed. They were quick and responsive to all of my requests. And I’m truly amazed at how strong they are…they were lifting heavy pieces of solid wood furniture like it was nothing! I am so glad we hired NorthStar!

The movers were very friendly and very efficient. They got there right on time and did not damage any of my items. There were no hidden fees and I really appreciated how quickly and cost effective it was.
William and his crew were extremely professional. Packed, wrapped and transported everthing then unloaded and assembled my new place in 2 hours. You cant beat service like that. Will be using Will and his team for all my future moves!!
PS: Their wrapping was on point. I’ve had movers in the past that can’t seem to figure out how to use saran wrap but these guys know what they’re doing!
