I just wanted to reach out to you to let you know how much your patience and kindness meant to our team and me during our recent move to Los Angeles. Coordinating an office wide Move for 6 employees, while 800 miles away in a different city, is no easy feat. Having your calm presence on the phone every time I had to call and make yet ANOTHER change to our order was incredible. I am writing this letter to express my gratitude and appreciation for the wonderful and professional service that we received from every employee at your company that assisted us with our very large and complicated office space reduction move.
It all began when I called your company several weeks ago to see if someone could come out and give us a quote for the project and that is when I met Ilan Dahan. I was so very impressed with his professional behavior and knowledge for what our needs were and he really seemed to care about what our organization was about and showed compassion for our mission. Compared to the other moving companies that we received bids from, llan took the time to visit us yet again and do an even more thorough walk through of our entire office to ensure that nothing was overlooked. Myself and my direct supervisor were even further impressed when we received the detailed quote which listed absolutely everything! It really showed us what your company was all about. When I spoke to you and llan over the phone, you both showed so much compassion and were so dedicated to helping us that I knew we had to use you for our project. It wasn’t just about saving money – it was about really making that connection and knowing that you weren’t just going to come and “move” our stuff around but really take the time to listen and help us with what we needed.
When the project started, myself and my department were so nervous because we knew the magnitude of this project and didn’t really know what to expect, but as soon as we met Nick and his crew, we were almost immediately at ease. They were all such a pleasure to work with and although we had them move some things around a couple of times, they never complained, not once. They were all so nice about everything and not to mention fast llan mentioned that they were fast but this was just ridiculously fast, which I completely appreciated.
I just wanted to take a few minutes of your time to once again express my gratitude and appreciation and to thank you for understanding that we are a not-for-profit organization that needs every penny we raise to offer free programs and services to cancer patients and their families. Now that we are somewhat settled into our new office location, I wanted to take the time to thank you and your moving crew in writing for making our move over a weekend go as smoothly as possible.
Your crews arrived both Saturday and Sunday at the scheduled time and began working tirelessly both days until the job was complete. In addition to moving our office contents from point A to point B, the crews had to work around the installation of workstations, computers and telephones at the new location. This they coordinated beautifully with those other workers and made it appear to me that it was no problem at all. The job foreman made himself available, including giving me his cell phone number, at all times. Before they left the job on Sunday, they made sure items were placed where needed and gave me the opportunity to inspect the completed job.
However, the most notable aspect of the excellent service given was the fact that you made yourself available by phone the entire weekend. If I had any questions or concerns, I was able to reach you with a single call. There were no delays or telephone tag. When, at the last minute on Sunday, it looked as though items needing to be moved were inadvertently locked in the storage room by our former building management, without hesitation and without putting any burden on me at all, you told me not to worry, you would send a crew on Monday, the next day, to move those. items when the area could be unlocked. I particularly thank you for this very helpful attitude, since the burden of the move was on my shoulders.
Again, thank you for helping to make our move go so smoothly. I would highly recommend NorthStar Moving to anyone. Never hesitate to use us as a reference.
