Being part of the “Old West,” Phoenix used to be home to many stockyards and cattle. They are still known for their steakhouses today, but even more popular than that is their Mexican food! Make sure to check out La Santisima, which is home to some fantastic pecan salsa and veggie queso. If you’re looking to support local farmers and sample some seasonal produce, try out the Ahwatukee Farmers Market! They sell fresh veggies, homemade jams and jellies, and an assortment of other goods sure to make your tummy rumble.
