What to Do in Boulder
There are tons of events and gatherings happening all throughout the year. The Boulder Bicycle Cruiser Ride happens weekly, and is a local tradition. Every Thursday evening you can go out with a large group of people to a random location in the city to cruise around on your favorite bike. The event is invite-only, and you must be invited in to see which site the group is meeting up at that week. The city is also home to an outdoor cinema located in downtown. The movies are screened during the summer time, and play fun family movies from just about any decade.
What to See in Boulder
Located along the foothills of the Rocky Mountains, Boulder is home to some of the most stunning sceneries that Mother Nature has to offer. The most iconic of these mountain ranges is the Flatirons. Green Mountain, in particular, is a symbol of the city, and can be seen from anywhere in the city. There is also the Andrews Arboretum, which houses many different trees and plants. The arboretum is a good place to go if you are looking to introduce a little one to nature and the outdoors.
What to Eat in Boulder
Boulder was once declared “America’s Foodiest Town.” The community in the city prides itself on their exemplary farmers’ markets and first-rate restaurants. Farmers’ markets here are guaranteed to be provided directly from the producer, and profits go directly to the local community. Boulder County Farmers Market is located in the heart of downtown. There are also several restaurants located around the market, letting you get a true taste of what the city has to offer.
