Cue the fireworks! July 4th is just around the corner! I love spending the day watching parades, enjoying family and friends and eating up some delicious July 4th barbeque. Mmmm. Whether you like a July 4th full of excitement or a more relaxed day, Los Angeles is bound to have a July 4th event just for you. Let’s check out some of LA’s greatest events:
For the Firework Enthusiasts:
Love July 4th fireworks? You don’t want to miss AmericaFest at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena. This spectacular event has one of the best fireworks displays in SoCal! Get their early and enjoy food, vendors, motorcycle stunts and live music.
For the Parade Enthusiasts:
Like a good ol’ fashioned July 4th parade? Then head down to Pacific Palisades! This parade has marching bands, equestrian units, community members and more. It even ends with a family-friendly concert and fireworks. Sounds like fun to me!
For the Block Party People:
Celebrate July 4th with a giant block party in and around Grand Park! There will be two stages for live music, food vendors, and fireworks galore. All ages are welcome, and it’s free!
For the Music Mavens:
Hollywood Bowl July 4th Fireworks Spectacular
At this event, the fireworks alone are amazing. Add Steven Martin & the Steep Canyon Rangers and the LA Phil, and you have a night you won’t forget. Pro tip: kids 12 and under get a 50% discount on tickets!
For the Beach Bums:
If you want to watch fireworks over water, this is the July 4th event for you. There are a ton of fun, family-friendly events throughout the day including paddle boat races, a children’s parade, live music, food, and of course, fireworks.
