Dogs are our best friends. It’s only natural that we would want to do everything with them, but dog-friendly activities seem to center on outdoor pursuits. Lots of L.A. restaurants allow you to bring your well-behaved fur baby along with you, but many take their dog-friendly policy one step further! Birds in Hollywood, for instance, even has a dog-friendly menu item: a meal deal consisting of doggie chicken and a fine selection of L.A. tap water.

In the mood for a lazy brunch? Head over to dog-friendly Tarzana eatery Cici’s Café. Dogs of all sizes are welcome at outdoor tables, and servers will happily provide all the hydration a hard-working hound could possibly need!

However, did you know that it’s actually not legal to eat at a restaurant with your four-legged buddy? Luckily people are trying to change that very un- dog-friendly law.

Of course, if you just want to enjoy some downtime with your pooch, the friendliest dog-friendly spot remains the drive-thru. Order a “secret menu” grilled cheese and animal style fries at In-n-Out and kick back with your buddy at home.

After you’ve filled up on grub, it’s beach time!
