To celebrate the greatest holiday of our time, aka National Pasta Day, we can try one of the most basic pasta recipes of all – pasta! That’s right, when I was looking for great pasta recipes, I found a basic, simple method of making my own fresh pasta. Oh my, it’s SO good! The pasta recipes I found included regular pasta and a recipe for spinach pasta! There are actually pasta recipes that call for all kinds of fun stuff like beets, tomatoes or spinach for color and flavor! YUM! Veggies boiled right into my pasta!
All the pasta recipes I found were great, but this one had the best basic directions – it even tells you how to make something fancy, like tortellini! And ravioli! And… you get the picture. The most basic of pasta recipes is still more versatile than almost any other food you could make! Pesto, Marinara, Alfredo, Garlic butter – pasta recipes are only limited by your imagination!
When I started going through pasta recipes, I searched for recipes with lots of fresh veggies – success! Some amazing veggie pasta recipes came from this delicious place – all their pasta recipes look so yummy that I’m getting hungry just looking at them! Out of all the pasta recipes available, I’m probably most excited about the cheese-and-nut-stuffed shells!
