There’s nothing quite like moving in Los Angeles during winter, mostly because, winter is not hard to deal with. The temperature drops a bit, it will rain for a bit, and it gets pretty windy. With the weather cooler, you can take a hike during any time of the day and not feel overheated. Head to Griffith Park and see how far you can get moving in Los Angeles. Climb up to get a great view of the Hollywood sign or maybe hike up to the Griffith Observatory.

Festivals
There’s a wide diversity of people inhabiting Los Angeles and as such there are plenty of diverse festivals going on!
On Friday, February 1 from 6-9 PM, Beverly Hills is celebrating Chinese New Year in style with dragon dancers and a Chinese drum corp as well as food and specials at surrounding businesses.

On February 16-17, the Queen Mary celebrates their 20th Annual Queen Mary Scotsfest featuring a parade and Scottish athletic events.
Special Events
One of the best appeals of Los Angeles can sometimes be its stars! With the Golden Globes over, there are plenty of awards shows going on all leading up to the Academy Awards. You don’t have to get moving in Los Angeles to see the Academy Awards, throw your own viewing party!
