LA Labor Day weekend is almost here! Time to take some time off. Woohoo! Have any LA Labor Day plans yet? There’s so much to do in Los Angeles to celebrate your day off. Some will be venturing off for a getaway, but LA Labor Day is something you’ll want to stay local for. Don’t believe me? Here are just a few of the awesome LA Labor Day events planned:
Fiesta Hermosa
Not only is this all weekend, but it’s free! Fiesta Hermosa is a huge arts and crafts fair with live music and a kid’s carnival set in beautiful downtown Hermosa Beach. There’s always fun tribute bands at this festival, so if you’re looking to rock out to some favorites on your LA Labor Day, get moving to Hermosa Beach!
FYF Fest
On your LA Labor Day, do you need your music and comedy fix? On September 1st and 2nd, head downtown for FYF Fest. Performers include Beirut, Against Me!, Yeasayer, Sleigh Bells, David Cross, and tons of others.
Orange International Street Fair
No LA Labor Day is complete without this favorite fair in the city of Orange. All weekend long, there are four city blocks full of international crafts, music, food, dance, and children’s activities. It’s the perfect place to take the kids during the day!
Los Angeles Times’ The Taste
For all you foodies, check out The Taste to celebrate LA Labor Day from Friday-Monday. Get your taste buds ready for an LA Labor Day festival of food, wine, beer, and spirits at Paramount Pictures Studios. There are events all weekend with your favorite celebrity chefs such as Susan Feniger and Ludo Lefebvre. LA Labor Day will be delicious!
Cinecon Classic Film Festival
LA Labor Day means enjoying lots of 35mm film! The Cinecon Classic Film Festival celebrates LA Labor Day with the good ol’ oldies. From August 30-September 3 in Hollywood, you can see rare silent and early sound feature films, buy movie memorabilia, and mingle with celebrity guests!
